To hate constantly having to explain my name?

I have a welsh name. (I don’t live in wales and never have.) No one can say it or spell it. Plus, my parents called me my middle name but gave me a first name that is different (and horrible.)

I can’t change it but I hate it. I really don’t think it’s an exaggeration to sa my life would be different if I’d been given a nice ordinary name!

Eithne is Enya to the best of my knowledge. Gorgeous name, sadly neither DH or I have enough Irish ancestry to justify it.

I love Morven, Eilidh and Alistair but don't have enough Scottish ancestry to justify them.

Fortunately there are lots of beautiful Welsh names to choose from

There are so many beautiful Celtic names whether from the Gaelic languages (Irish, Scottish Gaelic and Manx) or the Brythonic languages (Welsh, Cornish and Breton).
