Trying not to be a ATAAT. But “a colleague” has done something I’m not happy about. AIBU? Can’t say too much incase it reveals me to be Sarah in Accounts at Bingley and Co.

I think we live on the same street, @Doggybiccys, and @WorraLiberty is our postman

Doggybiccys · 07/03/2020 00:35

@Writersblock2....to be fair, when I was smarting earlier about said colleague I wasn’t happy about, I stomped off and ended up in a pound shop where I was able to buy 679 toilet rolls for a pound. They even threw in 82.6 hand sanitizers and some brufen # winning

And by the way - I didn’t enable voting so am just ignoring the haters

Did you just assume my gender?? Shock Hmm

Doggybiccys · 07/03/2020 00:43

OMG. Did you just assume I live on a street!! It’s more of an avenue but if it wants to identify as a street, cul de sac or road, I would be happy to support it.

Derbee · 07/03/2020 00:43

If you’re not happy with what your colleague did, I’d log it with 101. Just so they have a record

WorraLiberty · 07/03/2020 00:46

You sound like a lovely person OP Thanks Thanks Thanks

WorraLiberty · 07/03/2020 00:49

Oh wait....SHIT FUCK BOLLOCKS AND BUGGERY!!

OP, you forgot to put a disclaimer in your opening post that says "Daily Fail, fuck off. I do NOT give my permission for you to publish this thread".

Therefore I'm out. You're on your own luv and you only have yourself to blame.

It was nice knowing you.

Doggybiccys · 07/03/2020 00:49

@Derbee - good idea. I’m on the phone as we speak.

@WorraLiberty... I like to think so Grin

@WorraLiberty ... it was good while it lasted.

Just be careful OP, you don't want to be too outing about your shoe size, because Person A will obviously realise you're Person B, at which point Person C will become involved, whilst Person D will support you in messages but not say anything in in public, whereas Person E will gleefully let you know what Person F has said.

Shoe sizes are a MASSIVE giveaway.

AlunWynsKnee · 07/03/2020 00:58

I threw away your picture of She Who Must Not Be Named. MNHQ (probably) have my back.

amazedmummy · 07/03/2020 00:58

@Doggybiccys unpopular opinion but I think YABU. Are you always this judgemental?

QueenOfOversharing · 07/03/2020 01:05

LTB clearly a narc with borderline personality disorder, just like my "D"M.

WhiteBadger · 07/03/2020 01:08

Doggybiccys is that your real name you're using as your user name? That's very dangerous and naive.

Are you my neighbours Mr and Mrs Biccy's DIL, Doggy?

Bouledeneige · 07/03/2020 01:16

But OP don't we now need a detailed back story about why its incredibly difficult for you to be in certain work situations because of a medical condition and traumatic triggering experience that would explain your whole overreaction to the situation? But which you couldn't be arsed to mention earlier?

MovingBriskyOn · 07/03/2020 01:26

@WorraLiberty, sorry. I DID assume you were a person. Are you, in fact, a particularly articulate cat?

MovingBriskyOn · 07/03/2020 01:28

I think someone involved has probably got SEN, possibly undiagnosed.

And anxiety's a given

PapayaCoconut · 07/03/2020 01:37

You sound like hard work, OP. YABU and controlling.

Witchend · 07/03/2020 01:39

So you are that Sarah.
Hmm.

PapayaCoconut · 07/03/2020 01:45

Just leave your hungover DP with the kids while you check into the local holiday Inn to sleep and have a spa day.

So what if he spends every Saturday playing frisbee golf all day - you just do the same every Sunday! Then it's fair. Even if you don't actually enjoy frisbee golf.

Largeyellowdaffodil · 07/03/2020 01:55

Go for afternoon teas, especially if over the age of 50. Everyone that age loves afternoon tea (in a crappy : star hotel 30 miles from home from a cheap deal offer)

Largeyellowdaffodil · 07/03/2020 01:55

Or use your national trust membership for a free family day out- take sandwiches and drink tap water

Largeyellowdaffodil · 07/03/2020 02:02

You need a cleaner. I am about to sack mine as she is spreading Coronavirus and I am too important to be put at risk.

Largeyellowdaffodil · 07/03/2020 02:03

Don’t forget to drop in at the food bank. I donated my items left over from the Christmas hamper including some lovely anchovy pate. It feels so good to help the deserving poor.
