What could you NOT do, even if your life depended on it?

After commenting on another thread that my worst nightmare would be to have to dive underwater & resurface somewhere else. You always see it in films & they look like they’ll run out of air. Or they do it on Bushtucker Trials.

I can’t even watch it on tv / a film - gives me such anxiety. It is related to a PTSD issue, so that makes it maybe a bit more understandable, but I’m not sure I could do it, even if my life depended on it. Obviously, I’d have to try... 😬

What, if anything, would you struggle with?

I could not crawl through a tunnel for example like potholing. I did it when I was a teenager and if I think too much about it I just get so panicky.

I couldn't walk through a Forrest late at night on my own if my life depended on it.

I think I'd struggle to drive through there at night let alone walk !

Anything at all to do with heights. I couldn’t even do GoApe with the kids when they were younger. We have 3 DC and it needed both dh and me to do it with them. Any of the underground ones - under water caving, potholing, I mean seriously??? I'm incredibly claustrophobic.

If I can have another one, I also hate heights (although love flying, weirdly, it's just if I'm attached to the ground there's a problem!). Going to the top of St Paul's a few years ago nearly finished me off (although I'm now so proud of myself that I did it).

Happy to sit in the dark 60 feet underwater ( done my PADI) but ask me to walk to the exit past a big house spider that would be the end of me!

In room with spiders, insects or snake or scorpions.

Oh and sing.

I also couldn't have dental work done if not sedated.

I am a risk averse wuss, so LOADS of stuff. Anything involving heights - sky diving, bungee jumping, abseiling etc.

Have a natural birth. No way on God's green EARTH I could ever do that. I don't know how anyone does it. C-sections all the way.
