To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

There are no words to adequately express the way you and your son have touched so many lives. I hope, in time, there will be some small comfort in knowing how many hearts your son touched with his strength, bravery and sense of fun. As the previous MNers have said, I'm reaching out across the ether to you and yours and hope you feel the surround of this global blanket of love for you and for your son. Wishing you comfort and strength for the times ahead xxx

I'm so very sorry. There are no words that I can share to comfort you but I want you to know that I shall have your little boy in my thoughts for a long time to come.Take care of yourself.
And @peaceanddove can I just thank you for sharing the law of physics. That stopped me in my tracks and gave me some comfort (for a loss I suffered nearly 40 years ago).
I hope it offers comfort to the OP, if not now, but perhaps sometime in the future.

You are in my thoughts too. The passing of Gojetterboy brought tears to my eyes. You are forever a fantastic mum. You and your boy have touched so many hearts and lives.

Be kind to yourself. Your son will never be forgotten.

It’s been 12 hours and I’ve got home, I wish I had the motivation to shower, but I’ve at least eaten,

Leaving him at the hospital was so so hard, and my husband had to literally drag me out, but I am seeing him and a grief counsellor tomorrow,
