To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

There are no words to ease the pain you must be in.

Your wonderful boy is at peace now knowing how loved he is. My thoughts and love are with you and your family 💐 💙

Oh OP, I just read this thread. You are so wonderful - your darling DS sounded so special. I have a 7 year old DS and I know how awesome they can be. I am heartbroken thinking of you.

Please keep posting when you need a virtual hug, there is such a community of lovely people on here and so many who have had to live through a tragedy like you. You, your DH and all of your family are in my thoughts and prayers to-day.

It will seem surreal for a while, please mind yourself, and know you had time with an angel. It will be hard to parent your other children I am sure, but it will also give you a purpose through the fog of the coming hours, days and weeks. I hope you are surrounded by love and support IRL and remember, there will always be someone on here who can chat to you remotely.
