To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

I'm glad that this thread is giving you a small bit of comfort at such a difficut time.

I know you mentioned you are reading the posts and your little go jetter loves knowledge so here are a couple of random facts he might like;

@GoJetterGirl, it is such a privilege to read about your beautiful boy. I love that he would write you good luck letters. That shows his sweet and caring spirit. Those letters and his drawings and notebooks are priceless treasures.

You mentioned that DS adores his little brother. Has he enjoyed teaching him fun things?

I have been finding out about the Go Jetters - they sound amazing - and I made a little meme for GoJetterBoy as I know they are sending him all their love. (I hope that's ok!!!)

My DS spent a lot of time in Gt Ormond St Hospital over the years and when he was older, he was visited by Chris Martin from Coldplay.

Just off to work but still here thinking of you and your lovely boy. Dd is 12 now but she also needed to know everything. We spent a lot of time looking things up that I had no idea about!

The Gojetters are great, I have pet birds and if I need to go out I leave cbeebies on for them. I often find them watching Gojetters, then sit down and watch them myself. My son loves the baby club, especially the wiggle and tickle song they always sing

Also a Minecraft fan, I've just finished building a strained glass window on my base that looks like a Tetris game. Took ages but looks really good.

Your pain must be overwhelming OP - I hope the people here are helping you just a tiny bit. Keep telling us all of the good times. We will remember your boy xxx

Another one stopping by to say your boy sounds wonderful. I have had tears in my eyes reading this thread - you’re right, some people are just too good for this world as much as we want them in it.

Oh my - you are in my thoughts today as I just go about my day. I am glad to hear you have lots of RL support and just make sure you take it all. Those that offer and stick around are genuinely delighted to do anything however small to help.

Your boy sounds awesome and this is just unbearably sad.

I remember you from your PiL threads, I was always impressed by how you kept your composure and acted as a shield against any of the bullshit for your wee boy, in the face of a great deal of provocation.

Big Minecraft fan here also! Was he more of an explorer or a builder? Did you have to learn about Creepers and Endermen and skeletons and which one was the hardest to defeat?
