What's the male version of Mumsnet?

You know how men sometimes come on Mumsnet to canvas the opinions of women to get their perspective?

I know some men use Mumsnet but I think it's fair to say the majority of users are women. Is there an equivalent forum to Mumsnet for men (which is not about sport or a hobby etc), which men use to just to talk about life in general?

And have you ever gone on there to ask for men's point of view?

In all honesty though there is dadsnet/dad's network.

Well, you've got a Dadsnet Forum on here so I would quess that's the sort of thing you're talking about.

Never looked at it so have no idea what they discuss.

Seems men are not organised enough to have created an equivalent 😂

Prolly waiting for a woman to do it for them.

Pistonheads. My hubby got recommendations for wine from Aldi on it last week! It was good wine too! 🤣

megletthesecond · 22/02/2020 17:37

Pistonheads. I like having a read of their non-motoring threads every so often.

Noconceptofnormal · 22/02/2020 17:38

Thanks, yes I had heard there was dadnet but I don't know how much it's used, and by what kind of bloke.

I also know of reddit but thought that was men and women.

I guess I'm looking for a site for just 'normal' men, cross section of society, not those with some geeky, specialist hobby....just like Mumsnet really.

I'm not a market researcher by the way....! I just would like to get a blokes perspective on something.

OK this is harder than I thought it might be...

I looked on Pistonheads and it's 95% vehicles, and in the section not on vehicles there's nothing on just life dilemmas / relationships etc.

meglet which section of Pistonheads do you read?

Reddit I just don't feel are 'my people', just a different section of society. The 'askmen' section is just posts about neck hair, farts, oral sex and so on... not really what I have in mind.

Dadsnet looks really 1.0, not very well used / high traffic.

Sandman , thank you... I might start another thread and just ask in here....!
