I couldn't find a sport section, so I'm shamelessly posting here for traffic!

I'm happy to see either side win to be honest. Anyone any thoughts or preferences?

hahaha Alf. Nearly checked myself! You never know. No chance of him sending her in his place!

I’m here! Got seduced into reading a different thread for the interval but I’m back now. Sadly gin-less as I’m pinned by a sleeping baby and DH is still asleep!

Glad to see Wales have remembered their kicking boots Smile

But so have France...

Looks like it should be a better match to watch though!

shudup · 22/02/2020 16:55

Well this is a different game to the previous one anyway!

@PrincessSarene welcome back! Yep it's already shaping up to be a better game

Hoghgyni · 22/02/2020 16:56

Kate is probably relaxing with a nice hair treatment while he's out.

Hoghgyni · 22/02/2020 16:56

That will be George North off again then.

PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 16:57

Oh no! Someone needs to find a way to give George North a thicker skull!!!

ImperfectAlf · 22/02/2020 16:57

Oooh, that's not good

Hoghgyni · 22/02/2020 16:58

There's surely only do many HIAs he can have each year.

shudup · 22/02/2020 16:59

France looking good. Offloading the ball too soon though.

PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:00

Wales are starting to look a bit scrappy now. Get it together guys!

PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:01

@Hoghgyni I guess as long as they come back clear it doesn’t matter how many a player has?

shudup · 22/02/2020 17:06

Mohammad Ali (boxer) is believed to have gotten dementia from head injuries. You don't want too many of those to be honest. If you think of it in terms of a wobbly fence and you keep kicking it, every kick is going to do damage until it finally breaks. It's not like the fence goes back to its original state.

OP posts:
PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:09

True. I suppose it depends whether every bump is causing some sort of damage... maybe he should get some protective headgear!

Hoghgyni · 22/02/2020 17:10

They have to take longer & longer off with each one. Mike Brown was out for months 3 or 4 years ago after one too many concussions in the 6N.

Hoghgyni · 22/02/2020 17:11

There is also a suspicion that they may be linked to MND given the increasing number of players suffering like Dodie Weir.

shudup · 22/02/2020 17:11

They should all be wearing head gear imo lol, but I'm a wuss.

OP posts:
PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:11

I think they take potential head injuries very seriously, although I understand it’s frustrating for the players who just want to play rugby.

PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:13

When you look at amount of gear American Football players wear it does make you think whether rugby players should be wearing something.

shudup · 22/02/2020 17:13

Good kick.

PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:14

Ooh, I like the dragon masks!!

shudup · 22/02/2020 17:15

Fucking awesome from France!

OP posts:
PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:15

Well that was painful to watch.

PrincessSarene · 22/02/2020 17:16

Wales really should have shut France down there. But they’ve got away with it.

shudup · 22/02/2020 17:16

That was not forward!
