I couldn't find a sport section, so I'm shamelessly posting here for traffic!

I'm happy to see either side win to be honest. Anyone any thoughts or preferences?

Errrr, maybe he's a professional?

shudup · 23/02/2020 16:35

Ye right. I want rid of the traitor.

At least the Irish have a blame hound if they need one. Bring back Joe!

shudup · 23/02/2020 16:39

Don't patronise us. I couldn't train a team to beat my dd.

Tough break for Ireland-I really though we would see a try at the end of that

PrincessSarene · 23/02/2020 16:43

I’m sure he can be professional and train Ireland to be the best squad they can be, playing to their strengths and mitigating their weaknesses, and still be able to enjoy it at a personal level when his son does well.

PrincessSarene · 23/02/2020 16:43

I thought England were going to get an interception there like we saw yesterday.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 23/02/2020 16:43

Seriously?

DevilsAdv0caat · 23/02/2020 16:44

Why do you think he’s a traitor? I’d love to hear the detailed reasoning given you didn’t even understand scrum rules yesterday Grin hardened rugby fan and all that..

shudup · 23/02/2020 16:44

I just think the Irish will be delighted it's all over tbh.

OP posts:
ayvasili · 23/02/2020 16:46

That's a pretty good shiner on Courtney lawes!

shudup · 23/02/2020 16:47

Because you could see he wanted his son to kick a penalty. Against the team he's supposed to be training. I want rid of him anyway.

OP posts:
ImperfectAlf · 23/02/2020 16:47

You're right. And the score line doesn't really do them justice, either.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 23/02/2020 16:47

He must have paid Sexton to keep missing those kicks.

shudup · 23/02/2020 16:47

ayvasili I've had worse meself and survived.

OP posts:
Wakemeuuuup · 23/02/2020 16:53

Relieved Ireland got that try, and Sexton didn't try to kick it

Wakemeuuuup · 23/02/2020 16:54

Well done England, they deserved the win

AlunWynsKnee · 23/02/2020 21:30

England played well today and on top of that the luck all went their way. God knows what was going on with Sexton. He's normally a reliable boot.

champagneandfromage50 · 23/02/2020 21:58

It was a great game - I was at twickenham thought and atmosphere was brill

ImperfectAlf · 24/02/2020 10:25

@champagneandfromage50 me too. Then we came home and watched it on tvGrin . It certainly explained some of the ref decisions better. I might have to stump up for a ref link next time.

Mind you, if we all had them, the charming gentleman who threw his glasses vaguely at the pitch , calling the ref a 'blind c•••' may have been able to see the rest of the game.

Twat Grin

There's a likelihood that the next round will be rescheduled. The Irish don't want the pesky Italians bringing their nasty coronavirus germs into their island. And the English aren't too keen on travelling to Italy the following week either.

Not really blaming the Italians - wider travel bans may be in place in some areas by then anyway.

MrsJoshNavidi · 26/02/2020 11:19

Although as DH pointed out - most of the Italian team play in UK anyway (our a lot of them). They could hold the match here.

MrsJoshNavidi · 06/03/2020 18:30

I am please to announce that my husband is back in the team this weekend 😀
