This was me on Saturday night.

He might have a long journey. He might not have eaten in ages.

Maybe he was hungry 🙄

Probably smells better than McD’s or KFC etc which people eat on the tube pretty regularly IME

What’s wrong with chilli? I’d prefer that to tuna/McDonald’s etc to be honest, tuna turns my stomach and McDonald’s makes me hungry

@GrumpyHoonMain I have just laughed very very much out loud.

I remember I was on the tube once and a lady got on and opened up a Tupperware box and there were 2 boiled eggs in their shells. She picked up egg 1, picked the shell off bit by bit whilst throwing the shell on the floor and then put egg 1 back in the Tupperware box. She then did the same with egg 2. Then she sat there for ages doing nothing. Then she got her box of eggs back out and ate the eggs in the only way I can describe it , sexy slow motion - like the lady who ate a flake in the bath advert. So funny I couldn't help but stare . I also once saw a man who had some chicken, salad and a wrap all separate in a box assemble his own fajita whilst standing on the tube and eating it . That was impressive . I also saw a man with a goat and a sheep on a bus once in Surrey

3 days a week I work 8am-6pm then 7pm- midnight. If I don’t eat my dinner on public transport then I’m not eating dinner those days! Needs must

Food is banned in Singapore on the tube. They also have rules on not wearing backpacks, standing to the side to let people off, and offering seats. I saw people offering seats, only to be offered seats. The difference is amazing.

I'm with you, OP. No need for hot food on public transport.

Wait till they get on with fish and chips, complete with mushy peas and a pickled egg, which they merrily eat with gusto before letting out a loud burp that sounds like a corporation drain. 😂

When travelling on the tube, the smell of someone else's food is likely the most pleasant thing about the journey.

Unless food is banned on public transport, then there is nothing to prevent very smelly food

Depends if he was standing next to people in a crowded carriage while doing it like the lady eating chili cheese fries next to me today

Bad manners.
Mind you, I hate coffee and can't stand the smell so all those take away coffees people MUST have make me want to vom
