As in if you are calling someone a (k)nob - I see it without a k all the time. Is it slang like cum rather than come?

I think it depends on the context. Knob for someone who's a dick, and nob for posh nobs!

Nob in the posh sense is a different word.

Nob. When I see 'knob' I initially think of a door knob. When I see 'nob' I know exactly what the writer means!

I've always used knob because nob just doesn't looks right to me 🤔 also my autocorrect doesn't recognise nob as a spelling... However I've learnt my something new for today regarding nob is a derivative from noble.

Well bloody hell I've learned something today, apparently it cam be spelt spelt! I had a moment of doubt and checked after posting. My apologies!

I always say 'nob' - 'knob' is for a door!
