AIBU Skin on chips

I despise skin on chips, it totally puts me off a place if that's all they served, my monthly KFC treat was ruined when they changed theirs.

Most people I talk to think I'm the weird one for not liking them but I cannot be swayed, the thought of putting them in my mouth makes me 🤮

There should be a choice yes, skin off should always be available

YANBU. I don't mind skin on wedges but no chips.

I agree KFC have ruined theres.

YABU. KFC have always been terrible. The new ones with the skin on are slightly better but still not great. I don't know how they manage to make such bad chips.

I used to love KFC and was a treat for me but now I don't like they chips at all so haven't been in ages.

I'm with you on this one.

Was in lanzarote in December and my favourite lunch time place had changed all their fries to skin on because they are healthier apparently. When I'm ordering a double stacked bacon cheeseburger I don't a fig about healthy chips!

Skin on all the way. Chips from five guys are yum. KFC have always done poor chips.

I do skin on chunky chips in the air fryer at home with Cajun spice they cook better and taste better than skin off chips

I don't like skin on chips. I think they taste quite bitter.

I think it's a con, it's quicker and cheaper for restaurants to not peel their potatoes - so they try to convince us that skin on chips are a good idea.

The first time I had them was TGI Fridays in America. I wasn't sure but I loved them.

more vitamins? Proves the chips have some relation to a potato?

I had chips from a fast food outlet yesterday, as was out shopping and hungry - truly disgusting, no taste/texture of potato at all.

Yanbu. I'm not keen on them anyway and KFC ones aren't pleasant. More like soggy potato wedges than chips. That and the fact their portions have got smaller and smaller and the batter thinner and tasteless has put us right off.
