Is Melissana smoking in her 'intimate photos'? Struggling to see the relevance otherwise tbh ConfusedGrin

Newnamewhodis1 · 06/02/2020 22:44

@claramumsnet why?

Dowser · 06/02/2020 22:44

My dh wished he’d never smoked..he’s had awful problems with blood pressure and teeth on account of smoking

vodkaredbullgirl · 06/02/2020 22:46

@MT2017 i was'nt going to find out lol

PickleMyPepper · 06/02/2020 22:49

I loved smoking.

The first one in the morning, with a cup of tea, standing on the patio (especially on warm summer and fresh winter mornings)

The one after sex, the one after eating, the one on my lunch break, the one after I'd finished work, the one with a glass of wine, the one when our drinking with friends whilst all chatting in the smoking area.
All incredible.

I remember fondly the times my friends and I would go out to our local on a Friday. They'd have an amazing DJ, cheap drinks and you could still smoke inside.
Pubs have never smelt the same since. I think the smoke smell was much better than the now stale beer, greasy food and urine smell!

I've given up now due to health issues, but I still vape and the satisfaction is no where near the same Sad

@ClaraMumsnet why are you deleting it?

Absolutepowercorrupts · 06/02/2020 23:01

Yes, I really enjoyed smoking, all of them, first thing in the morning caffeine and nicotine got me set up for the day, I absolutely loved smoking.
I stopped last year. I smoked for 46 years and now I don't anymore.
I've morphed into an intolerant ex smoker, it stinks, really stinks. I don't miss it at all. I do vape though, very low nicotine and no smelly scented bubble gum flavours.
Now I love the freedom of not being a smoker, no panic when I leave the house, in case I've forgotten them. No desperation to just have a drag. Airports are places I quite like now.
No more white fingers and toes in the winter, no more high blood pressure.
Freedom, it's great

kittykatkitty · 06/02/2020 23:07

I miss smoking. I absolutely loved it.
Not had a cig for 4 years

HopefullyAnonymous · 06/02/2020 23:09

I love it 🤷🏼‍♀️

danadas · 06/02/2020 23:24

I miss it all the time. I do take a deep breath when I walk past someone smoking. No way I could afford it now though.

Zoecarter · 06/02/2020 23:55

I absolutely loved smoking. I was lucky enough when I was pregnant that the smell of cigis made me projectile vomit so made quilting easy for me. I do feel that I cheated tho

squeekums · 07/02/2020 00:01

Love it
Love that first one in the morning with a coffee

AlunWynsKnee · 07/02/2020 00:09

I thought I would be the only one saying I am an ex smoker who liked it but apparently not. Pregnancy stopped me and I know I'd be lost if I had one but I do like to stand next to someone smoking.

covetingthepreciousthings · 07/02/2020 00:22

I was a (very) occasional social smoker, back in the days when you could smoke in clubs and pubs. I miss it though. One of my exes smoked, and I remember sharing cigarettes in bed and loved it.

It's been over 9 years since I've had one, but one day, I'll buy a packet, and savour them as nostalgic throwbacks.. then shower profusely after, as the smell does just cling.

Grandmi · 07/02/2020 00:22

I always drummed into my children to absolutely never smoke because I have always been a closet smoker...very secretive in the garden!! Am still ashamed that after a glass of wine or two I still have a sneaky cigarette!! Luckily they all hate smoking so conscience is clear!

jellybaby1 · 07/02/2020 19:19

Ahh I really miss it. If it was cheaper/not a killer I'd still smoke now Blush

Saucery · 07/02/2020 19:23

I loved it. Still inhale a bit deeper if I walk past someone who is smoking. Glad I gave up, but I’ll never be as cool I was 2 drinks in with a fag in my hand 😀

waterlego · 07/02/2020 19:26

I’ve got deja vu. Did you post this thread twice?

malificent7 · 07/02/2020 19:26

I used to smoke when i broke up with boyfriends so not great memories for me. Feel better now i don't.

Bubblemonkey · 07/02/2020 19:37

My mam was a heavy smoker. Didn’t particularly enjoy it but it was more of a habit. She’s short of 5 months without one now with champix
