Hi all,
I’ve got sore legs and I’m not tired, so I’m watching The Stranger on Netflix, and crocheting a scarf for my Grandmother. What about you? Ooh I do love a late night chatty thread!

Another one feeding a baby - DS2 who is 4.5 months.
Hope the poster with the CO alarm is OK?

therewerefour · 03/02/2020 04:00

My 20 month old has an ear infection and keeps waking every 4 hours screaming for 20 minutes each time. Calpol has settled him now but weve been awake since 230am.

Igotthemheavyboobs · 03/02/2020 04:03

Thanks @ClareBlue engineer has been and turned off the mains gas and checked everything. I've aired out the house and need to get an engineer round tomorrow to sort out the boiler.
Kids and DH are fine- I checked on them earlier. I'm knackered and I'm taking tomorrow off to get this sorted out.

pemberlyshades · 03/02/2020 04:17

And thank you @puds11 !

FunkyFantasticFudgeball · 03/02/2020 04:25

My 8 Year old got sick, she was sick on Friday night and a few times on Sunday. At least I know for sure now not to send her to school. 3 year old is wide awake singing. DH left 10 minutes ago to get a flight and I'm wide awake

Gruffalosandbuffalos · 03/02/2020 04:33

Baby DD has been sick so is in bed with us tossing and turning.

YouJustDoYou · 03/02/2020 04:33

Woke at about 3am for a wee, subsequently wide afuckingwake and can't get back to sleep because every now and then one of the kids shout out in their sleep, a million things going round in my head etc.

kiaorasvetlana · 03/02/2020 04:36

Awake and worrying about something I can't do anything about as nothing can change it.

CameFromAway · 03/02/2020 04:41

Woke for a wee, high winds making so much noise I haven’t fallen back to sleep.

Bloatstoat · 03/02/2020 04:41

Poorly 4 year old and baby who won't sleep for longer than a couple of hours at the moment means no sleep for me :-(

Longdistance · 03/02/2020 04:51

Dd 8 came into the bedroom to tell me her tummy hurt, and then half an hour later says she feels sick, so she’s now got the sick bowl beside her bed.

crankysaurus · 03/02/2020 04:56

Stressing about work and upset with a good friend bring shit.

Sizeofalentil · 03/02/2020 04:58

I've got an extremely bad stomach bug or food poisoning. I'm in the spare room but can hear my normally co-sleeping two year old periodically wake up and ask for me in the next room. Stressed out and guilty because not sure if DH is even waking up to her SadSadSad

FreshStart01 · 03/02/2020 05:00

Woken up for a wee but feeling anxious so can't get back to sleep. DD2's hamster died last night. Feel guilty as I constantly reminded her to check on him, feed, water, but didn't actually check on him myself in last few days as busy/distracted. Not sure if she'd fed him and water was empty. Poor thing. A hard lesson for her, she's devastated.

DanceMonkey19 · 03/02/2020 05:01

2 yo ds has an appointment with a paediatric neurologist tomorrow and I'm scared Sad

DanceMonkey19 · 03/02/2020 05:08

Actually in a few hours. Didn't realise quite how late (Early?) it is

PowerslidePanda · 03/02/2020 05:16

Up again with DT2 now - managed about an hour's sleep in between. A bit worried because she didn't have a wet nappy - the last time I changed her was around 8:30 pm and i don't think DH has done it since. She's only 13 weeks - too little to be dry at night. Hopefully she'll go when she finishes this feed.

Glad all is ok for now, @pemberlyshades - hope it turns out to be nothing, but you did the right thing getting it checked (despite what your DH thinks!)

Flowers to everyone awake with worry or something medical

PowerslidePanda · 03/02/2020 05:26

We have a wet nappy - phew!

Hoping she settles quickly so I can try and get back to bed - have to be up again in an hour!
