To lie about GCSE grade to get on to course?

I have GCSE maths at grade C and want to re-do maths to get on to a grad scheme. I can't afford to pay for a course at the moment.

I know you can get funding if you don't have a maths GCSE at grade C. So I was wondering if colleges check if you've already done GCSE and what grade you got.

Btw, my maths is rusty so I would love do to it again.

Also, if you go to womens centres they off link courses. I never paid to do my course.

If you can't afford to do it at the moment - you will have to work for a bit longer, save up, then do the course. OR. find some way of doing the course for free.

Don't be dishonest. Don't lie. That is not a good road to go down.

I work at a college. The exams department will register you with the relevant exams board for your GCSE. Your ULN number which multiple exam boards will use will give you away.
Also If there is an eligibility criteria not to pay something the college would have to send proof.
You will be found out

Good on you for going back to retake it.

The difference between your situation and the OP is you didn't have a level 2 pass so we're eligible for free resits, whereas the OP has a level 2 pass already and wants to fraudulently enrol on a resit course to improve their grade.
