To pander to my cat's dirty needs

AIBU just to refill her water bowl from the puddle outside rather than from the clean, fresh water tap? At least that way she might fucking drink it

Obviously the summer months may be hard but I could invest in a rain-catching device (of which the real word escapes me)

AIBU?

Mine pushes me aside the second I emerge from the shower cubicle to drink what’s left in the shower tray

I think the cat getting flat Perrier wins the thread. Not just any old mineral water, fizzy mineral water that’s flat.

It shows an attention to detail.

It's funny we all think our cats are knobs, yet we are the ones dutifully refilling glass bowls and buying mineral water Grin I can actually see exactly why my cat treats me with a mix of contempt and pity. They have us wrapped round their furry paws!

Mine drink tap water. Straight from the tap or from the bowl but we had to move the bowl to the other side of the kitchen, away from their food.

For 5he last two years my departed cat had me taking second breakfast upstairs so his paws didn’t get cold on the tiles & dutifully following him to his tray if he wanted a poo so I could empty it straight away.

I’m hard as nails with humans too 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I know! I never pandered to my DC the way I pander to my cat. Imagine saying to your cat "That's all you're getting and I'm not doing anything else if you don't like it. Stop being so fussy". I value my life too much
