Maltesers.

There. I said it. I've just eaten some for the first time in ages, in case my opinion had changed, and I just don't get it. Why are they so popular? They've got to be the dullest chocolate going.

Doughnuts. Absolutely grim.

Dusty, gritty sugar coating to contend with. I remember the horrible feeling of the sugar stuck to my lips and jam spewing out the side. 🤢

You take 1 or 2 Maltesers, pop them in your chomping machine but don’t chomp!
You then add a mouthful of tea.
You will feel and see the gateway to heaven and you will then asked for this silly post to be deleted.

I like them. A lot.

But I utterly detest reading them misspelt as Malteasers. It makes my teeth start gnashing.

I also don't like chocolate oranges or gin. Or wine.

Maltesers are best straight from the freezer. Chocolate oranges are now vile.

I don't like being touched so the idea of massages or spa days has me freaking out (silently).

Gravy is the devil's diarrhoea.

@Pollaidh yesssss agree. DH and I shared a box last night and he demolished them in seconds and I'd had about 3 because I refuse to bite them!

Chocolate oranges (or any orange chocolate apart from Jaffa Cakes) are awful.

Maltesers are delicious. It's impossible to eat just one.

I like them but I don't like the risk of getting the dodgy soft one.

I’m with you on the dreaded ‘spa day’ but Maltesers are good. Terry’s CO used to be a real treat but they have been disgusting for a few years now; greasy with a distinct lack of either orange or chocolate flavour. Really disappointing.

I’m not a huge fan of chocolate at all. Occasionally will have a Freddo but that’s about it.

I like Maltesers. There's a Maltesers spread that I'm a bit hooked on. I didn't know you could get buttons

I love Terry's chocolate orange but only the dark one, which I can't find these days.

I Recently bought a pack for my niece( last December) and totally agree with OP I hate them too! That must have been the only time I’ve bought them in the last 12 years 🙈. Sorry but not to my taste.

I also wholeheartedly agree with doughnuts. The jam in them is gross. I always moan when people bring in treats for the office as it's always doughnuts, but secretly I'm pleased because I could do with losing some timber.

I also agree with regards to Prosecco. Overrated. Having said that, I was put in charge of Prosecco at my brothers wedding, presumably because they thought I could be trusted. Anyway, long story short, I got smashed on free Prosecco.

They're not what they used to be. I used to love them but the chocolate's not the same anymore. The Malteser Easter eggs are revolting.
