Started a new thread on the off chance () that something funny might happen in my street later. Maybe around 10pm...

Diagram below for the handful of people in the country that haven't printed it off yet...

@Tangfastics. To maintain anonymity. No trolls to find here. Go haunt another bridge.

sunshinesupermum · 04/02/2020 15:44

TeetotalKoala But B is at least in 2 so she's not that 'trapped' is she or is it because she just has to have both 1 and 2?

BigFatLiar · 04/02/2020 15:47

But B is at least in 2 so she's not that 'trapped' is she or is it because she just has to have both 1 and 2?

I think the issue is if someone parks in 3 the B will have problems getting out if she's sandwiched between 1 & 2.

Thanks hmmis
Can I just clarify....EVERY HOUSE has a drive, most can fit 2 cars in. One can even fit 4 cars. EVERYONE with one of these drives parks one of their cars on the road because they are all long drives not side by side and we’re all clearly lazy.
I happen to live on the bend after the junction and ALL my neighbours park outside my house (it’s mostly garden). I’m not complaining about that. What I said was if I don’t park one of our cars (we use the drive we have with the other car) outside our window, some other bugger will when there is space for at least 5 other cars to park before the come to my actual drive entrance. (We have a large corner plot) The other side of the road has at least 5 spaces outside peoples houses - avoiding driveways
Also neighbour who parks in front of my window ALSO has a two car drive that only has 1 car in it.
We’re all parking twats round here but we are civilised parking twats cos nobody tuts, nobody sits in car waiting for special spot. We just get on with it and move our cars IF our space become available.
Parking is definitely NOT a problem round here, 1980’s estate built with huge gardens and room to extend pretty much everyone’s house to the side. All semis and detached and bungalows. AND a school very close by and I’ve still never seen a drive blocked or used at school pick up/drop off

Sorry for long rant 😁

originalcatlady · 04/02/2020 16:20

Annnnd she's trapped! A normal person wouldn't be. But based on experience, B is trapped

🤭

Butterymuffin · 04/02/2020 16:43

Will that matter? Will she need to go out later? Is she the first one out in the morning?

TeetotalKoala · 04/02/2020 16:45

If she's on the early shift this week, she's in for the night now isn't she? I'm guessing she'll be knocking on doors if she needs to get out. They should all respond 'but is it touching'.

TeetotalKoala · 04/02/2020 16:46

What time does she leave on an early morning?! Will you be woken by over revving as she attempts to Mr. Bean her way out?

Lweji · 04/02/2020 17:15

If she's trapped by the visitor, it may not be for long.

originalcatlady · 04/02/2020 17:16

I'm always woken at 5:15 by her revving to get out, no matter how big her space is!

OP posts:
Lweji · 04/02/2020 17:20

You could pop in adverts for self driving cars through her letter box.

MovingBriskyOn · 04/02/2020 17:26

Excitement mounts...

Tandia · 04/02/2020 17:28

I really really hope A's friends are staying overnight. Based on your stalking observations in the past, is that likely OP?

Bluetrews25 · 04/02/2020 17:31

Oh, the madness spreads.
This dinosaur does not know how to screenshot, so have C&P what I have just seen on a local FB page - the responses were either pure MN 'you don't own the road' or outrage at said responses!

Hopefully the owner of a white Renault van reg XX00XXX would kindly move it. It's been parked directly opposite our drive on Namechanged Ave & is causing us problems with getting off our drive. It's been there now over 24 hours...
Our street is not a car park.

ItsLegalTender · 04/02/2020 17:36

@Bluetrews25 we're on the same community Facebook group!! Lol the responses to that are total gold!!

Bluetrews25 · 04/02/2020 17:38

@ItsLegalTender I had to sit on my hands, itching to reply!!

originalcatlady · 04/02/2020 18:06

Visitor has gone. In the blink of an eye, B has reclaimed 1/2.

OP posts:
MaggieFS · 04/02/2020 18:15

Has anyone got a smart cart they could park nose in to the half of 1 which B isn't in?

MaggieFS · 04/02/2020 18:15

Car not cart!

sunshinesupermum · 04/02/2020 18:16

Dammit! B must sit by the window and wait for 1/2 to become free! She has less of a life than those of us invested in this thread lol

cstaff · 04/02/2020 18:42

@sunshinesupermum
As does the OP and what would we have for entertainment if not for this Grin

originalcatlady · 04/02/2020 19:06

No smart car, but we have C who gives little regard to law and is currently parked in X/1, wedging her in nicely with D in 3.

OP posts:
Gooseysgirl · 04/02/2020 19:12

Ooooo that could be fun tomorrow when B tries to leave for work 🤣

Gogolego · 04/02/2020 19:13

Are there any bumpers touching other peoples cars
