What contraception do you use?

What contraception do you use and do you rate it? I’m on the combined pill (microgynon) and tempted to come off it and just use condoms as so sick of all the artificial hormones and bloating. Thanks

I was on the combined, & then mini pills for years.

Has the mirena coil fit a couple of weeks ago.

A bit uncomfortable when they first put it in, but no issues at all. I’ve not had a period for 10 years (thanks to mini pill), & fully expect that to continue forever!

I use the contraceptive patch so handy just change it once a week and it just looks like a plaster on your hip, never came off in the showe or shower or anything. Dh also uses condoms. I got pregnant at 17 (one month off 18) and really don’t want another baby anytime soon (I’m 22 and dh is 26 and dd 4) though don’t get me wrong I’d never ch age having dd. I’ve never had mood swings and just have a light period for 3/4 days every months.

I've got the coil (kyleena) lowest dose over 5 years. I feel so much better compared to when I was on the pill. Wish I'd gone on the coil sooner

We used the rhythm method. It worked for DH & myself. All of our 14 children now use this method too
