To ask a sex offender not to attend

I have recently found out a sex offender teaches an exercise class I teach. He has served time for secretly filming women in the shower and on the toilet, and for having indecent (classified as severe) photos of children on his computer. It has made me feel very vulnerable. What would you do?

I don't think it's at all coincidence he's in a mostly women group......

I'd be interested to see if he was breaching any probation conditions... As this sort of class would often be out of bounds to a registered sex offender.... Esp re the voyeurism offences....

Obvs women are relaxed, changing, chatty... Endless potential for covert filming.

@motherheroic nope, what I said/meant was as an adult woman attending a yoga class the risk he poses to adult women is of further voyeurism (likely by filming covertly). So that's what would be of concern for me.

I'm not on about moral judgment here. I'm talking about the risk he poses to adult women.

The risk he poses to children is a separate matter.

Most Yoga groups are majority female so if a man attended I would expect themto be ina minority. Anyway op have you got any further/seeked advice?

I totally wouldn't be happy with this and woulsnt want to be in a class with him either OP.

I'm just wondering why you're all so adamant SOs always reoffend though? I've studied this as part of my degree and the reoffending rates for SOs are actually lower than a lot of other crimes (there are statistics on websites like gov.uk). No I would not want to be in a yoga class with him, but why is it impossible to believe he might have been rehabilitated?

I would advise calling 101 as others have suggested and see what they have to say. If hes on the SOR he will probably have a probation officer.
