We don't even have the tele on that much, just occasionally at weekends and every time I put it on it seems like it's Justin, in one guise or another. I find him intensely irritating and DS isn't interested. (Yes, we do change channel). Why is he there all the fucking time? (Sorry for the language, need to vent and can't swear out loud !)

Robert DOES look like Judge Rinder Grin

Andy is Fatima Whitbred! Wink

My DCs 18 'technically' but 5 mentally with her learning difficutlies and other disabilities, so Justin is an absolute hero to us.

(Wish Keep fit keith , captain adorable and the Burrito brothers would wear better fitting trousers though...very distracting! eeewww!)

SERLIN2020 · 30/01/2020 06:22

@JammyGem I imagine it was a safeguarding issue re the 'child'. He always has someone with him at stage door, as working with children I imagine he has to be careful so as to avoid being falsely accused of 'wrongdoing'.
Cant imagine it was the child he was complaining about just the potential situation!?!

SERLIN2020 · 30/01/2020 06:30

@Lizzie030869 no food is wasted with the pies.....they are made from shaving foam!!!!!

peachgreen · 30/01/2020 06:38

DD is obsessed with him - Gigglebiz is her absolute favourite, she knows all the characters by name and is delighted when they turn up. DH worked with him for a few months and said he was very private and reserved (though polite and friendly) but absolutely fantastic with the kids and it seemed very sincere.

peachgreen · 30/01/2020 06:40

Oh also DH said that there were some children - or rather their parents - who really tried to monopolise his time at the stage door night after night - I wouldn't be surprised if he complained about that to be honest.

Ionacat · 30/01/2020 07:25

I was about to say the same thing with the pies - you can’t use cream as it goes off under the lights and starts to smell. All pies therefore are shaving foam!

Blackbear19 · 30/01/2020 07:31

I'm another who feels ceebies is saturated with him. Doesn't matter when I seem to put it on he is always on.

I can see good in Something Special but sometimes I feel he talks down to the children.

Their has to be more , better, different, children's presenters out there than just him.

Nanny0gg · 30/01/2020 07:39

Well as he develops all his shows not the BBC, you need someone else to come up with some ideas

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 30/01/2020 07:43

He gives me the heebie jeebies. Always has done. As has Cliff Richard. They seem very fake.

x2boys · 30/01/2020 08:16

Can't stand the man personally and I find something special incredibly patronising ,and just to point out i have a non verbal child at a special school that Justin and his crew have filmed at .

Comeonbabyyay · 30/01/2020 08:26

I can’t watch Justin in any shape or form
DC not interested at all
And yes he is there way too much
I don’t get the costumes he wears and all the characters
I do appreciate the bits that he does for SEND children though

Kab30 · 30/01/2020 08:39

I agree with happypunky ...watch episodes of bliming ryans toy review then you will love justin ....xxx

Blackbear19 · 30/01/2020 13:56

X2Boys patronising is a good way to describe him.
I remember watching him with a young special needs boy, he spoke to the boy like he was completely thick.

MissB83 · 30/01/2020 14:00

My son adores him so he must be doing something right, can't see the attraction myself but then I don't think the channel is aimed at 36 year old women.

BrimfulofSasha · 30/01/2020 14:03

Well the queen loves him- he has an MBE.

I think what he does is brilliant, he is warm and talented.
