If ever I could stop work (trapped in the south east) I would kill for this house

Cherrysoup · 19/01/2020 23:19

@ioioitsoff I’m so jealous that you live round there! My DH is from Hereford and I’d love to retire there.

ioioitsoff · 19/01/2020 23:25

waves at grace and cherry Smile

StoneofDestiny · 19/01/2020 23:43

You will need a heap of money for heating and maintenance costs as with all properties this age.
It will be dark with small windows.
Lived in a very old house like this - wouldn't do it again. The upkeep was very high.

Mumbassa · 19/01/2020 23:45

It’s gorgeous!!

cheeseislife8 · 19/01/2020 23:55

OP you HAVE to buy that house. Do it immediately

Snog · 19/01/2020 23:55

Beautiful house!
OP are you planning on still riding once retirement age? Or will the horses retire too?

NewYearsRevolution2020 · 20/01/2020 00:01

I would be happy with the shed at this stage Sad

flirtygirl · 20/01/2020 00:03

I don't like homes like this with beams or the windows like that but I can appreciate its a nice house and well decorated.

LionelRitchieStoleMyNotebook · 20/01/2020 00:07

The first one is lovely, why is it so cheap?!

covetingthepreciousthings · 20/01/2020 00:09

That's lovely, but cheap?! Also, anyone else think it looks like it would definitely be haunted ? 👻

SuzieSunshine · 20/01/2020 00:14

Maybe it's not far from where Birdie Friend is from :) :(

Oksunny · 20/01/2020 00:19

Yes, explained to maintain plus looks a little bit like a house you might get murdered in, sorry 😬 but it does have some lovely features.

Oksunny · 20/01/2020 00:19

Expensive*

I'd like this so I could restore the period features or even add some

Mammyloveswine · 20/01/2020 03:44

That house is totally haunted! What's with pic 6??

The photos make me uneasy...I don't think I could step inside Blush

Flagg · 20/01/2020 03:50

Photo 12 looks like a still from a horror film.

And that dining room ceiling is hellish low.

SucculentCandle · 20/01/2020 03:51

I'd insist on wearing an Elizabethan costume every day if I lived in that house.

HeronLanyon · 20/01/2020 03:56

My first thought was ‘flooding’ the photos of land have a wet look !
Wonder why it hasn’t sold since April last year ??
Is lovely. Could imagine using one of the less beamed bedrooms as my own just to get away from them a little ??
Central London here - price is gobsmacking.
