I bath cook my lunch at the start of my working week so I can take nice food to work each day.

I made a big pan of pasta this morning to see me through the next four days. I was rushing around and it didn't have tome to cool so I covered it and left it on the side.

My H ate some, decided he didn't like it and binned the WHOLE contents of the pan because he thought I just "prepared too much".

I'm mad!!!!!!

TartanMarbled, people who make a mistake say oops, they're sorry, ask what they can do to put things right and then do it. They don't tell the person whose food and work they've just eaten, binned and wasted that they're being a dick!

Someone who did that by mistake would have the pan out and the water heating to cook replacement pasta and be raiding the pantry for more tuna, beans, passata etc and tearing some fresh basil from the pot on the kitchen windowsill.

"While I'm cooking this, put your feet up, my turtledove, and I'll bring you through a cuppa."

That's what someone who had just made a mistake would do.
