To not understand why Amy Schumer is having IVF

Eight months after her child was born?
In this country would they advise you against this so close to a recent pregnancy and birth?

I had IVF so understand how infertility means but she doesn’t seem to have said anywhere that her first child was difficult to conceive or conceived through IVF.

I've been wondering too as she's been so open about it on Instagram. I think she probably will talk about why. I did wonder if because she's had HG she would be considering a surrogate or whether just something else medically has resulted in a bit of a scare.

This really isn't ok. It's a level of intrusion that's not acceptable, this woman and her fertility is not your business. One needs to assume she has appropriate medical care.

I'm reporting because I don't think this is acceptable and mnhq can decide.

I think she probably had ivf for her first child and it worked the first time otherwise why would she not just crack on and get pregnant with her second child . I think she is doing it now so she can never say to herself she left it too late .. but is she just saving her eggs or actually actively trying to get pregnant .8 follow her on Instagram and she shares everything so it's hardly a secret but I'm unsure of the details as she seems to missing them out .

@Bluntness100 have you been on her Instagram? She actively asks women who have had IVF to contact her. I wouldn't discuss anyone who kept it private but she actively puts photos, etc on there.

She's the one who put it out there, Bluntness. No one can keep anything to themselves, they have to air every spec of dirt on their laundry in the name of 'awareness'.

I don't see how the Mail article incriminates Schumer at all. She would quite like a daughter. I felt that same way. I have a daughter now but would have loved another DS just as much.

She had HG for nine months, if she can afford a surrogate then good luck to her. HG isn't feeling a bit sick. It's having stomach flu every day for nine months. With accompanying chills, and copious vomiting. Then weight loss and nutrient loss. Anaemia. You would take the day off work if you had just one day with HG. She had nine months.

I had twenty one months with it (one loss at 3 months and two full term pregnancies) and it completely broke me.

Good luck to Amy. It's wise to freeze your eggs at 38.
