Megan has left Harry and gone back to Canada hasn't she ? Why didn't they bring Archie back to Britain with them ?

She's returned to her son who they left in Canada while they made their big announcement in the UK. Her job is done now and she's left Harry to deal with the fallout while she returns to her son in Canada where she left him safe from the queen who has, in theory, custody of her grand and great grand children.

Bringing Archie on multiple flights hasn't bothered either parent previously, they're safe keeping their custody of their child against any threat, no matter how small it maybe, as any good parent would.

None of this is the issue, they want control over their own lives but also want the prestige and financial support of been a royal. Either of them don't seem to understand the word no, that's the real issue.
Other countries thrive without royalty why does England insist on hanging on to this dim witted entitled family?

No, I don't think that she has 'left' him (attempting to end their relationship).

I'm assuming they decided to leave Archie in Canada as they had plans for Meghan to fly back to Canada to be with him shortly after leaving. I'm sure they believe that they left their baby in good hands. I'm guessing that they temporarily left their baby in Canada, as they had important shit to sort out over here in the UK. Why make their already crazy life even harder and deal with the fallout with a baby in tow, if they clearly do not have to.

Please do not try to drag Meghan. Both Meghan and Harry are making what they believe to be the best decisions for themselves and their Son.
They way they chose to live their lives and the state of their mental health does not affect any of us, especially if they fund themselves going forward (which is what they have said they want to do). Kudos to them.

I reckon after what happened to his mum Harry has sent her and their son away while he deals with the fallout. The British press can be brutal I personally think he's trying his best to protect her from the worst of it.

I’m sure, like any other couple, they probably just decided he’d talk to his family and she’s go back, it didn’t need both of them etc - it’s not that they’ve split up. I’m sure they’ll save us the drama of them splitting up for future years!

Why would you take a small baby on a long haul flight across different times zones if you didn't have to for the sake of a few days?? They did the right thing. The fact that people are questioning it is exactly the reason that they both are better off stepping back and living their own lives.

Article I read says that Harry plans to join them both. I don't think it was anything about taking a baby on a flight, it was planned to leave baby, announce and then go back to Canada. Probably to avoid all the drama and press following them if they had all come back to the UK.

I think the move to Canada is obviously to escape the British press hounding them as they can't seem to get away from it. Who knows they probably had a lovely time over Christmas and enjoyed not being photographed so decided to stay.

Stepped back as senior royals, well they weren’t that senior anyway tonbe fair and copyrighted the name Sussex royals the queens had her name on mugs for and I’m sure their is a gift shop at Windsor castle.

I don’t know who is more boring - the people obsessed with speculating about what they’re up to, or the people leaping to their defense like they’re some kind of hard done by victims. PLEASE. If they don’t want to accept any of the wealth and status then they can simply walk away - let’s be honest; the problem is that they want to KEEP the wealth and status while living a totally private life. Well I don’t have the wealth and status of a Royal because I’m not one - simple. Therefore if they no longer want to be treated like this then they can sacrifice the perks too. And then we can all move on with our lives because let’s face it, if it weren’t for their titles they wouldn’t be remotely interesting to anyone. (I mean I don’t even think they’re interesting with their titles. But clearly because of this thread other people do. I think we should get rid of the lot of them, arrogant spongers that they are. 2020 has no place for a bloody monarchy, it’s frankly embarrassing.

Yes seriously it is time to move on folks. I think there is more jealousy being seen than anything else. Sorry to say that but what comes through all the posts and media stories starts to show us why Megan doesn’t want to live in the uk, irrelevant of her or his motives for this. The non stop hounding is intense. It’s been a couple of days since the announcement shouldn’t we give it a break? Or maybe it’s time to ask why are we so annoyed by all this? Is it time to rethink the monarchy? Maybe it is, or maybe it’s time to look at why we appreciate the monarchy.

I agree OP I have thought this all the way that she has said she is staying in Canada and he has made the choice to stay with her.

I can understand, with his history with the press, that he wants to protect her but she has made the decision that she cant live in the UK.

I think she is protecting herself by going straight back, it would have been good if she could have stayed and supported him through the 'talks' but we don't know her state of mind.
