School mum lives down my road. I actually live further from the school than she does and it’s a 7 minute walk for me and DC.
This mum (who is not disabled in any way btw) actually gets in her car and drives her DC to school. I see her parking up back at home on my way back so she’s not dropping DC on the way to work either. This is morning.
WTF!

I would say the takeaway woman is likely to be suffering anxiety, after all she will still need to pick the food up from the door to eat it, maybe she just can't cope with the human interaction of going to the shop or talking to the driver.

There was plenty of laziness when I was at school. My secondary had plenty of parents dropping their children off daily, despite the catchment area being very small. The kids were perfectly fit and healthy. It wouldn't matter if the parents were disabled because frankly a secondary-age child should be perfectly capable of walking or cycling.

The only time I got dropped off was when bulky musical instruments or other unwieldy items were involved.

What is the problem with being lazy really?

Is it because everyone else appears to be full on, or are the lurkers lazy and will not admit it?

I am lazy. I have a diamond of a DH who does most of the cleaning. I cook, he cannot, that's fine.

No children that's a painful story, but onwards and upwards.

Lazy is great. We should all aspire to buck the trend of being told we have to be active all the time lol.

Once a family member once buttered and ate the toast I had prepared as they couldn't be arsed to cut the bread themselves.

What others do is my business.

I don't have pierced ears because I can't be bothered to put in earrings.

Not sure if this is lazy or cf'ery. Been a member of a support group and recently new member has joined. New member cannot drive but struggles on public transport, brands everyone else in the support group as not understanding and as being mean, and seems to blame their lack of transport on others lack of lift offering.

The support group has a wattsapp group and I suggested they contact people via there to ask if they go near their area and if they could get a lift. They don't know how-no worries I can show them all tomorrow. They then suggest that no, I ought to take the time to find people on the group who are nice, local to them and drive and to give them to this person. I said no (politely) but was flabbergasted at the cheek

I also have a mum who lives on the same street as the school, she drives when it would take about 2 minutes to walk. She is usually late too as she has to fsff about finding a space. She is a SAHM (both kids in school) so its not like she is rushing to work.

I really dont get it.
