Does anyone agree with the continuing claims particularly amongst a lot of celebrities claim that the uk is fundamentally racist particularly in relations to Meghan-Markle.

I think as a country she was welcomed with open arms.

We had hoped that it would be a valuable discussion but given all of the deletions we've had to make, and the many references to 'race card' (an offensive term that we don't allow), we just can't make it work.

This type of discussion can attract subtly racist posts, which we delete. Please continue to report posts that break our talk guidelines. Racist posts (or any posts) that fall foul of guidelines will not be tolerated.

We're closing this whilst we catch up with reports (there are a few) and will reopen when we're on top of it.
