Am sure this has been done before but what are your weird food habits?

Mine are:
Cream on crunchy nut cornflakes
Butter on bbq crisps (I know- WTF)

Aibu to ask about yours?!

Dairylea & sliced pickled onion on cream crackers

Chilli cheese on peanut butter and jam sandwiches

addictedtotheflats · 07/01/2020 16:20

Prawn cocktail crisps and milk chocolate together, skips and kitkat is my fave

Legoandloldolls · 07/01/2020 16:21

Tinned salmon sandwiches with vinegar. Childhood favourite.

Everythingnotsaved · 07/01/2020 16:21

Wow, some of these are bonkers 😂

Raw potatoes

Yes. Alsobacon rind. My mum used to put it out for the birds and I would go in the garden and eat it first.

😍

Some of these remind me of the lady in the Vicar of Dibley with her stranger food combinations 🤣

Grumpbum123 · 07/01/2020 16:24

My H likes bread soaked in milk covered with sugar

katzenellenbogen · 07/01/2020 16:26

Crikey - Blush Also bacon rind - not some weird new food no-one has heard of

Legoandloldolls · 07/01/2020 16:27

My dd5 eats raw bacon from the fridge sometimes, which is both dangerous and yuk.

WeeSleekitTimerousMoosey · 07/01/2020 16:28

My H likes bread soaked in milk covered with sugar

That could work, kind of like a raw bread and butter pudding.

My husband eats brown sauce sandwiches. HP naturally.

Janaih · 07/01/2020 16:29

I like to dunk my fries in mcd's strawberry milkshake.

Also been known to eat the fat that I've cut off a boiled gammon.

turkeyontheplate · 07/01/2020 16:33

Mine are mostly based around Christmas as it's the only time I really let loose

Cold pigs in blankets dipped in blue cheese salad dressing

Thickly buttered bread with salt and vinegar crisps and German peppered salami, drizzled with honey and mustard sauce

Wensleydale with cranberries/white stilton with apricots, sandwiched between thickly buttered digestive biscuits

Leftover roast potato and stuffing sandwiches

CarolinaPink · 07/01/2020 16:33

Cold white plastic bread toast spread thickly with butter and the spread with that old-fashioned brown french mustard or mustardy piccalilli or lime pickle or salt and pepper :)

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/01/2020 16:35

Other people who eat bacon rind! I have found my people.

I agree about egg mayo sandwiches with salad cream instead of mayo - that’s how my mum used to make them - not hot though. She did decide, eventually, that boiling and shelling the eggs was too much trouble so decided to use scrambled egg instead. Cold scrambled egg sandwiches (with no mayo or salad cream) are no treat, believe me. Envy < not envy.

LoopyLou1981 · 07/01/2020 16:35

Coleslaw on sausage sandwiches 😋

Stravapalava · 07/01/2020 16:38

Make a kind of sandwich - one large cheese and onion crisp, square of dairy milk, one large cheese and onion crisp. Yummy.

mummumumumumumumumumum · 07/01/2020 16:39

sausages with butter melting on the top of them.

Thatagain · 07/01/2020 16:51

Batterd and deep fried jam sandwiches. Or chocolate spread
It's really nice.

Cakeandmarshmallows · 07/01/2020 16:55

Bbq beef or salt and vinegar hula hoops pushed into cheddar cheese or cheese spread so they are filled with cheese!

Chunk of cucumber hollowed out and cottage cheese put in middle.

Salted crisps eaten at same time as chocolate buttons!

NumbersStation · 07/01/2020 16:56

A pie sandwich. Or a pie in a bap.

Lovely stuff

Spied · 07/01/2020 17:00

Iceberg lettuce and baked beans on white bread.
White bread soaked in vinegar with a chunk of cheese
Packet of crisps ( any flavour ) with grated cheese and vinegar in.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 07/01/2020 17:01

My God. I've entered the Twilight Zone.

Except the pie sandwich thing, I could definitely do that.

gemdrop84 · 07/01/2020 17:02

When I'm making bolognese I like to get a big crust of bread, spread on a load of butter (salted) and use it to mop up the remaining sauce out the pan once I've served it. No one in the house has caught me doing this...yet.
I like to dunk hot buttered toast into my coffee.
I also used to love eating Dairy Milk chocolate with Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps together...not keen on the chocolate anymore it doesn't melt the same.

Tinselviolin · 07/01/2020 17:03

Hummus on toast (super salty shop hummus with white plastic toast) I am convinced it should be a thing, but nobody seems to be buying it.
Also I like eating bits of chicken stock cube neat, or sprinkled on a spoonful of peanut butter
