So blessed, date night, Love my man so much (no one belongs to anyone else unless you gave birth to them and even then they could fuck off and ditch you), feeling joyful, feeling thankful - the list goes on - what are yours?

OP posts:
FrangipaniBlue · 04/01/2020 12:00

Ah that boils my piss @RedPanda2 I never know which one it is commenting on my posts of who I'm fricking talking to!!!

SusanneLinder · 04/01/2020 12:18

Some of these I don't mind. I don't mind people posting about their dogs, the odd inspirational quote ( if it's funny and not all the time), and I actually like people's holiday snaps, especially if it's somewhere I have never been or am thinking about going.
I do hate the #myworld #livingmybestlife shite though. Or bunny/dog filters ,fake news, and people sharing stuff that's like 5 years old. They get very defensive if you point it out. Or lost dogs miles away.
Mostly I roll my eyes and scroll on.

itsniceoopnorth · 04/01/2020 12:27

Gave up Facebook 4 years ago - honestly the right decision Smile

Chuffit · 04/01/2020 13:50

I only have 6 people on mine, and they're family 😂
I use it mainly for a few groups that I'm a member of and that's it.
I don't understand why anyone has work colleagues etc on their friends list.

FloreanFortescue · 04/01/2020 21:23

Aggressive posts to people they don't know but are angry with:

TO THE WOMAN WHO PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME RUDE IN TESCO CAR PARK TODAY. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY BECAUSE NOW I HAVE A DISTRAUGHT 10 YEAR OLD WHO HASN'T STOPPED SCREAMING AND SHAKING SINCE. WE'VE HAD ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH THIS YEAR AS IT IS.

Result: 50 innocent and unrelated to the incident people have to read the negativity like it was them!
Blah blah blah... unfriend.

Babyg1995 · 04/01/2020 21:25

1 share 1 prayer

Retroflex · 04/01/2020 21:28

Posts which are judgemental of others (like this one) Hmm

ShoesCoatBag · 04/01/2020 21:34

Ones which start with

“So this just happened..”. Fuck off with your backhanded smugness.

DustyMaiden · 04/01/2020 21:43

My late DMs birthday today. DB posting happy heavenly birthday. I’d live with the tweeness of this if it wasn’t for the fact he hasn’t visited DF once in n 2019.

And this, maybe it’s my autism but what use is that. Virtue signalling.

ActualHornist · 04/01/2020 21:50

Any of those posts that have some pithy little quote that is meant to solidify everything bad, normally about politics.

Basically anything important put into a meme. And I like memes!

BunnytheBlueWhale · 04/01/2020 22:41

I just think Facebook is annoying full stop. People showing off. Showing their lives in the best light. Selfies. Pictures of their food. Photos of their kids. I think it’s all very self-indulgent.

Holidayaddict · 04/01/2020 22:43

This one seems to be popular today posted by the usual suspects. I expect tomorrow it'll be autism, cancer or dementia.....

Hello... Could two friends or family members copy and repost? I am trying to demonstrate that someone is always listening.

            SuicideAwareness

Just two. Any two.

TinyTimsCrutch · 04/01/2020 23:02

People who post pics of all three courses when they are enjoying a meal out.
Obviously the company must be crap if you are logging it all on fb

TinselTitsMcTree · 05/01/2020 00:24

The gushing Happy birthday/anniversary to my darling partner/child posts. Fair enough post pics of said event if you want, but the long lovey dovey spiels written directly to the person. Fuck off. It's even funnier when the person they're written for isn't even on social media. Say it to their face FFS.

TinselTitsMcTree · 05/01/2020 00:35

Oh and the new one (virtue signalling again), people documenting (bragging) about how eco they are, reducing their plastic use, getting their veg delivered, only shopping locally, wearing period pants... and smugly suggesting everyone else follows their moral path. All of these things I have no issue with (I'm environmentally responsible as much as I can be!) but it's just the SMUGNESS of them. Are they doing it because they genuinely care about the planet (maybe cut down on your 3 foreign holidays a year if you are pal) or care about being seen to be woke?

ssd · 05/01/2020 00:38

The bragging about shit we all do but don't feel the need to highlight on facebook

GoldenKelpie · 05/01/2020 00:40

Carribeanescape "...and then say, 'some of my friends will share this, I think I know the ones who will.'"

Just fuck the fuck off, then fuck off some more why don't you!

Those type of comments really give me the rage and the disappointment I feel when people I have respected post this passive aggressive drivel... urgh, I never see them the same way again.

If any mners do this, please don't, its pathetic and needy.

ssd · 05/01/2020 00:40

Oh oh another gem...

Happy birthday to my hubby/baby etc etc, in other words, someone you live with you could just say happy birthday to but no, you have to post it on Facebook as you're a superficial dickhead

pelirocco123 · 05/01/2020 00:52

You are the love of my life /soulmate posts
When only 6 weeks before you were posting that about a different man ....and the year before it was the same thing , yet a different man ...and a previous time year after bloody year

Cookiedough123 · 05/01/2020 01:12

Bargain holiday for £1999 4 nights New York

Followed by emojis ⚠️⚠️⚠️❗❗❗❗❗🌴🌴🌴🌴🛩🛩🛩

Bluestripeddress · 05/01/2020 01:12

All the running bores....fuck off
Also the ‘great night, great food, great friends’

BitOfFun · 05/01/2020 01:12

I see very little of this on Facebook as I don't have people on my feed who are twats, so when I do, it just amuses me. I'm in some great groups with good friends I've made on mumsnet and elsewhere online, so on the whole it's enjoyable for me. Sometimes I look at local selling groups to marvel at the utter shite that "needs gone". It's funny to me rather than irritating.

kitk · 05/01/2020 01:13

Yup, the hospital check ins and I'll PM you hun are bad. The other one nobody has mentioned so far is where they post this long paragraph that starts "wow, this really works! I only saw 10% of my Facebook friends but now I've copied and pasted this BS I see you all. Try it and see- it breaks the algorithm" Yeah, only if algorithm is actually code for my brain from smacking it into a wall at your utter stupidity!

rudolfsquiffy · 05/01/2020 01:16

'Flying to Paris tomorrow morning at 6am (silly face emoji) , the downside of short haul business travel'

BlueEyedFloozy · 05/01/2020 01:30
