Yes I've dressed for dinner in my new pyjamas. I've been wanting to get in them all day (saddo) somehow all the years I was single or with boyfriends making myself go out and forced enjoyment I'm doing now exactly as I want.
I might be really crazy and stay up until 9pm Grin

Just put my pj,s on too ! Dh gone out and I'm just gonna veg out on the settee.

ohcarriemathison · 31/12/2019 19:56

Not got PJ's on but just chilling at home.
Had a buffet tea with kids and now watching You with DH.
Got a busy day planned tomorrow and looking forward to that.
Not sure if I'll make it to midnight, may nap and wake up for the bells 🔔

dreamingofmushrooms · 31/12/2019 19:56

I've not gone as far as pyjamas, but I will see in the new year by clearing out the sideboard in the dining room, which is groaning with decades of accumulated cutlery, crockery, table linen, mats, ugh.

New Year, new broom and the whole house is desperately in need of a declutter and I had to start somewhere, and the dining room drew the short straw Grin

dreamingofmushrooms · 31/12/2019 20:01

I'm not usually on my own at NYE but dh and his band will be entertaining the multitude tonight and the adult dc are being smuggled in on the guest list going to watch him.

So I can do what I like Smile

Magpiesshinynest · 31/12/2019 20:01

Got in bed with pjs on and a McDonald’s hot chocolate, and couldn’t be more delighted!! Grin

thunderthighsohwoe · 31/12/2019 20:07

In my onesie by 6.30pm, once the one year old was in bed. OH wa shocked that I was so chilled about him going out, till he realised I still haven’t seen Call the Midwife Christmas special!

AdaFromYorkshire · 31/12/2019 20:08

In bed by 9.30, a good book, and hopefully I won't hear the fireworks. We've been invited to a couple of parties but I'm too old for that and so is DH who is pottering around with a bit of diy. I'd rather be up bright and early tomorrow than tired from a late night.

Freesunglasses · 31/12/2019 20:08

I'm laid on my bed in mine. I'll have a few beers and a vodka and coke, watch some stuff on Netflix then sleep through the New year.

Bliss!

CheddarGorgeous · 31/12/2019 20:10

5.43pm was pyjama time here Smile

ColourMeExhausted · 31/12/2019 20:11

Consumed a roast dinner and home made pud, polished off half a bottle of champagne, kids are in bed...me and DH were promising ourselves we'd watch a film but I am hoping we might just go to bed early because I will fall asleep halfway through....

Would hate to be out and doing things. Done my time with big NYE nights out, very happy to be at this stage of my life now.

Newyearnewme2020 · 31/12/2019 20:16

Both dc's in bed now here, just watching a film with dp (and wondering how soon I can go to bed). Me and dp prob be in bed by 9 o clock!

JacquettaW · 31/12/2019 20:16

Nothing sad about PJs, they're my favourite clothes Grin Been in mine since I got back from DM's at about 3.
Currently sitting playing Sims, cat next to me and we're listening to an audio book.

Really jealous of all the takeaways though (started weightloss plan yesterday and bloody starving waiting for tea!)

ButterflyBook · 31/12/2019 20:17

you wont be alone thousands wont be out
Millions even! Or millions plus 3 if you include us

Bluerussian · 31/12/2019 20:19

Me too, it's nice.

LetUsBeElegantOrDie · 31/12/2019 20:20

Pjs on here for me DH & DCs. Grazing on party food, watching a film and having a glass of red. Doubt any of will make midnight!

NotYourHun · 31/12/2019 20:20

DH went to bed as soon as DS went to sleep. I put new sheets on especially for an early night! I’m in the shed doing a quick turbo session and then will have a snack and a shower and get an early night too! I’m totally over NYE being a big thing. I’m working tomorrow anyway!

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 31/12/2019 20:23

Just had a lovely long bath and am now in my pyjamas and dressing gown, curled up on the sofa with a blanket and cat sleeping on my feet. I’ve got a Baileys and binge watching SVU.
Happy New Year to you all 🥂

speakout · 31/12/2019 20:23

Lucky you.
I was hoping for an evening alone, but still waiting for DD to get ready so I can drive her to a party.

Gizmo79 · 31/12/2019 20:25

I am also in bed with some G&T and have DH with friend downstairs. I honestly am happy. I have toddler snoozing next to me and will have some munchies in a bit and then sleeeeep

beela · 31/12/2019 20:28

I can't think if anything I would less like to do than head out into town this evening.

Pjs are on, dc are in bed, dh is cooking tea and opening wine. I will go and light some candles and find something to watch on Netflix once dc2 falls asleep.

Rock & roll Wine

Petrichor11 · 31/12/2019 20:29

In my pjs, have been flopping on my bed and regretting slightly that I didn’t flop on the couch for a bit first as then I’d be more likely to stay awake!

Think I’ll be in bed well before midnight. I really don’t do New Year’s Eve celebrations anymore

Magnificentbeast · 31/12/2019 20:32

I'm in my pjs too. Couldn't be happier. Once the youngest goes down for the night it's party food and mulled wine for dinner Smile

Happy New Year to you all!

Marmite17 · 31/12/2019 20:32

Slouchy clothes here as well. Not coping with retirement so hoping my physical health will get me back to work next year, and improve my mental health. Bored silly, no cause .Lived for my job

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 31/12/2019 20:32

I haven't been out for New Year's eve since I was 19 and even then it was crap. Jammies, snacks, and Witcher for me.

JesusInTheCabbageVan your night sounds perfect. My pasta consumption always doubles when I rewatch The Sopranos. :o

Happy snuggling everyone. Wine Cake

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 31/12/2019 20:34

Awh, are you a nurse Marmite?

MIL is in the same position at the moment.
