Yes I've dressed for dinner in my new pyjamas. I've been wanting to get in them all day (saddo) somehow all the years I was single or with boyfriends making myself go out and forced enjoyment I'm doing now exactly as I want.
I might be really crazy and stay up until 9pm Grin

Just had my steak pie, gonna pour another gin and chill in my big fluffy dressing gown.
Might stay up, might not ..Ooh the adventure Grin

MotherHeggy · 31/12/2019 19:39

Pj's on here. Comfy on the settee with a blanket.
Candles lit.
Party type food in the kitchen
Ghost programme on Amazon Prime.

StoneColdSaidSo · 31/12/2019 19:39

I’ve just changed into mine and ordered a chinese! Dh has gone out with my brother (I was more than happy to stay in with dc), dc will be in bed by 8pm. I have a nice bottle of rose and I will have a glass or two. I’m so looking forward to a quIet night on the sofa with Netflix. It’s been a very hectic year and I have a busy life so I’m looking forward to just chilling.

Squirrel26 · 31/12/2019 19:39

Had rage-inducing day at work, drove home crying and having arguments with people in my head. Now eating crisps on the sofa under a blanket. Much better.

The only reason I haven't gone to bed is that the sofa is closer to the snacks. Grin

needanewnamechange · 31/12/2019 19:40

Oh yeah pjs on by 7pm
I've been to work tidied up and watch the film New Year's Eve on Netflix with a glass of wine . Made lasagna pjs on now watching take that on sky one with more wine . Wine

Freyanna · 31/12/2019 19:40

I'm in my jammies too!

Eating chocs and watching TV with Dcat.

I'd like to see the New Year in but don't care if I do.

MakeItRain · 31/12/2019 19:40

You've inspired me to get mine on! I've already got a glass of wine and the door well and truly locked. I spent so many years at NYE parties and pubs wishing I was at home. I love being able to spend them doing exactly what I want these days Grin

MerryDeath · 31/12/2019 19:40

perfect Smile we've had a quiet afternoon testing out the fireplace of our new old house and letting DS choose all the films. now I'm about to put him to bed and then i'll be bathing and in pyjamas too.

AlbusSeverusMalfoy · 31/12/2019 19:41

In my pjs. Had Chinese. Waiting for little DS to fall asleep so I can go back for seconds 🤣

Allyg1185 · 31/12/2019 19:41

We are away in our caravan for New Year. The campsite is putting on a small disco for the kids which starts at 8pm. We are going to check it out at our ds request but can't see us being late back to the van. Jammies and tv after that

I’m home too. I’d rather be out tbh. Teenaged DDs are out, in Cardiff because we could afford train/hotel in London. It’s their first NY’s since turning 18 and I’m seriously wibbling. I have to work tomorrow there will be champagne at midnight after watching Jools Holland.

Hope everyone enjoys their evening and happy New Year to all.

AdoraBell · 31/12/2019 19:43

Could not afford London.

SmallPinkBear · 31/12/2019 19:44

I’ve got mine on too. Watching Netflix with a glass of wine and cheese! Wine

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 31/12/2019 19:46

I'm in mine too, I couldn't think of anything worse than being out in our towns pubs/clubs tonight! Love Christmas, hate new year with a passion.

Had a posh bath at 5pm and put clean pj's on and I've been relaxing ever since with TV, prosecco, curry and left over Christmas chocs! :)

TwentyViginti · 31/12/2019 19:46

PJs on and Earl Grey tea here! I'm wild! Grin

user1497997754 · 31/12/2019 19:48

Jamas are the best .....happy New jamas 2020x

daisychain01 · 31/12/2019 19:49

Staying in with PJs is the New NYs celebration.

And not feeling forced into staying awake til stupid o'clock.

DH and I are laid low with some ghastly sore throat/streaming cold lurgy so we couldn't care less what day month or year it is!

I've decided to celebrate it at 8am tomorrow - to sync with California!

TheSquitz · 31/12/2019 19:49

Spent a lovely day shopping/lunch with my sister. Got back at 5pm. DH was already in PJs under a blanket on the settee, being pinned down by the cat. I got straight into my ankle length nightie and fleecy gown, put on my fluffy slipper socks and we're now watching Poirot. Let the good times roll!

Gingernaut · 31/12/2019 19:49

I've not been dressed all day.

I've still got to rescue my bin after being collected this morning.

PonderTweek · 31/12/2019 19:50

Same here. Had a nice bath and a large whiskey and I'm sat here in my dressing gown trying to decide which Christmas choc to have. I am planning on eating most of Christmas treats tonight and will get back on my gluten free mission tomorrow. We'll see how that goes...

Chosennonetosurvive · 31/12/2019 19:52

My DC are with the dad. We could've gone out but my friendship group do Xmas Eve together and then different friends or family for NYE. We had a long dog walk, home for bubble bath, PJs on whilst we wait for take away. Feels great Xmas Grin

beautifulstranger101 · 31/12/2019 19:54

Me too! in my pyjamas, about to crack open the Prosecco and watching a film with H and kids later on after dinner.

I was driving back from town about 5.30pm today and already there were people wandering around with open beer cans looking a bit tipsy. I just thought "urgh no thanks!" - town will be absolute carnage by midnight and those people will be paralytic by 12.
I dont miss those NYEs at all.

ButterflyBook · 31/12/2019 19:54

DH and I've been mooching around the shops all afternoon in a small local village centre with loads of independent shops. Stopped in the pub on the way home for a couple of pints, where they were gearing up for a right old booze Bonanza, open till 2am. When we left at 7 there were people already noisy drunk. I'm at home in my pyjamas with a curry delivery on the way. I can actually hear the pub revellers now, from half a mile away. ( Quite rural though so not much in the way). I know for absolute certain where I'd rather be!

Justgivemethehobnobs · 31/12/2019 19:54

Oo in PJs here too and just ordered a curry. There may also be a glass of wine on the horizon...
