I will start

Someone who constantly bangs on about politics , especially the ones who make the same points over and over again about Brexit.

OP posts:
camelfinger · 29/12/2019 19:05

The ones with a list of women’s names who are most likely to have a baby next year/are the craziest friends etc. Always just fairly popular names of women in their 30s.
Millions of badly spelled hashtags.
Making memories bollocks.
Missing people from about 5 years ago who only popped out for a couple of hours and were shortly “found” and other long-solved mysteries.
Things about not being allowed to celebrate Christmas at school which are clearly bollocks.

BitOfFun · 29/12/2019 19:05

All my friends on social media are quite normal, but I do enjoy the odd horror post on local selling groups.

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 19:06

People who put up videos of themselves absolutely drunk out their skull and make out they are great. No hun, they're embarrasing.

Dhalandchips · 29/12/2019 19:06

Those who post things about how fabulous they are, all the 'look at me, I'm wonderful' stuff. And their 3000 sycophants all fall over themselves to agree. But they don't really know him. Narc ex.

IMWang · 29/12/2019 19:07

People who post how perfect their life/kids/husband are... #blessed

People who coffin chase and post about the death of people they hardly know.

People who plaster their new relationship all over Facebook and brag about how amazing their new fella is... cut to a few weeks later and they're single again and posting about how they only need their kids and no one else... until the next one.

Newkitchen123 · 29/12/2019 19:09

I bet this won't get one share....
Not from me it won't!

Does anyone know what time tesco closes?
Google it!

Any inspirational quotes

FishCanFly · 29/12/2019 19:10

Parents and grandparents posting private info about kids in chat groups. Keep them to your profile if you absolutely must, but chat groups? Where people talk about sex and politics? You think its a good idea to share where your grandchildren go to school?

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 19:10

People who post "does anyone know whose cat this is, been hanging round for ages" as if cats never ever go out.

MrsPresley · 29/12/2019 19:11

Last night one of my friends posted "heartbroken, don't ask me about it please" 30 posts later, "thanks for all your good wishes, it means a lot"

I still don't know or care what's happened!

Also can't be bothered with 6 lines that run into one sentence, no commas, full stops, nothing!

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 19:12

People who post about finding missing bank cards..firstly, I'm quite old and never found a missing bank card yet and secondly, why dont they just take it to the bank and hand it in. They shouldn't be hanging on to it and then posting it on social media.

BellatrixLestat · 29/12/2019 19:16

My MIL using pictures of my children as her profile picture when I have made it quite clear that pictures of my children are for my friends list only (small, very selective friends list!). I do not have any public photos of them on display (profile picture, background picture etc)

missmouse101 · 29/12/2019 19:16

Bloody awful spelling.

SoniasTrumpet · 29/12/2019 19:17

Hun
Memories made
All the feels.... WTF!?
Cheers, next to a photo of a glass of alcohol
Photo with hands in that have dirty nails
Checking in to places, just for attention
Sausage legs on a beach
Shit quotes
Share this to win.... It's not real

ALemonyPea · 29/12/2019 19:17

People who post in their local accent 😡

People who post about the selfless deed they have just done, such as bought a homeless person a bacon sandwich. Doesn't make it selfless, makes it all about you, hun.

JuniLoolaPalooza · 29/12/2019 19:18

People posting faux concern about their child's development but are actually showing off how advanced they are. Ie "when do they start drawing necks?" with a brilliant picture drawn by their 1 year old. (Particularly when your own five year can't draw anything) Eye roll.

concernedforthefuture · 29/12/2019 19:19

People who tag their significant other when contemplating going to an event they've just seen advertised and then continue to make the full logistical arrangements on Facebook when (presumably) they're sat next to them on the sofa at home.

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 19:19

People posting about their mental health and how depressed they are and how noone else in the world knows what they are going through....then the next post minutes later is the complete opposite and happy and jokey.

hellnooooo · 29/12/2019 19:20

The men who are into "bikini modelling" or women's bodybuilding and post photos of their arse in a g-string or down their fake boob cleavage Confused. Followed by gym selfies and meal prep photos. Cool yes you have a nice body but we don't need to see every inch of it and what you're eating or not eating for dinner.

hellnooooo · 29/12/2019 19:20

Bahaha I meant the WOMEN who are into bikini models. Men in bikinis would be worse!

FudgeBrownie2019 · 29/12/2019 19:21

A woman I know puts the hashtag 'making memories' at the end of everything. Parents evening? #makingmemories Car valet? #makingmemories Smear test? #makingmemories

I want to throw things at her.

CameraTime · 29/12/2019 19:21

Anything with #loveMyFamily or a general obsession with family as if no one else has ever had parents, siblings or children that they got on with. Inevitably when you talk to these people in real life, their families are psychotic.

Anyone who bangs on about home decor, unless they're into something really innovative. I don't care if they went into Next Home, bought the lot, and stapled it to their house, it looks fine, I don't need 600 photos.

Check ins that are attention seeking (though I do agree with the poster above who said you have tons of time to kill at A&E).

People who's lives are very successful according to Facebook, but a disaster in real life. Either be honest, or don't post.

CoffeeCoinneseur · 29/12/2019 19:21

People who post about finding missing bank cards

Yes!

On the one occasion I lost my bank card I phoned the bank and cancelled the card within 2 minutes of realising it was missing.

And on the one occasion I found a card when walking along the canal, I googled, found that there was no branch of that bank for miles, so cut the card up and threw it away when I got home.

AgentCooper · 29/12/2019 19:21

Hospital check ins.

Passive aggressive memes aimed at family members (DH’s entire family does this).

People who claim they’re posting no make up selfies and the like when they’re about 8 foot deep in filters.

And those filters on pictures of kids, wtf? Now your child looks like they’ve had shoddy plastic surgery, well done.

MintyMabel · 29/12/2019 19:22

People sharing things designed to outrage or scaremonger without doing the simplest research.

bettybattenburg · 29/12/2019 19:22

Quizzes about your name, animals etc
Photos of their children (have they agreed to their photo being online?)
Checking in everywhere
Passive aggressive digs about how nobody cares
Photos of piles of xmas presents
Boasting about their child's 35 A* GCSEs and place at Oxbridge at 15.
