I will start

Someone who constantly bangs on about politics , especially the ones who make the same points over and over again about Brexit.

OP posts:
AnUnhealthyMind · 29/12/2019 18:51

@popcorndiva every time my children needed a&e, I've had loads of time to pass (DC1 gets lethargic when ill and DC2 saves it for night time or nap time). It takes hours to get sorted. Lots of time to check social media (although I never tag myself in a&e. That's crass.)

iklboo · 29/12/2019 18:52

People who post pictures - usually stock photos - of ill children / animals / people with disabilities and say

'I bet this doesn't get one like or share'

When they don't know the person from Adam.

People who share 'missing' posts that are either out of date or say 'Missing from Buttcheek Colorado since 4pm'. In UK places.

Garlicinyoursoul · 29/12/2019 18:53

As above, checking in at hospital, more so A&E, is probably the worst one!
Others for me include - legs in the bath photos, people who mindlessly post racist crap and propaganda -especially prevalent just before any Christian festivals I’ve found, ‘inspirational’ quote pictures, people ranting without telling everyone who they’re ranting about, any post including the phrases ‘boy did good’ or ‘living my best life’.

CoffeeCoinneseur · 29/12/2019 18:53

People who copy and paste those statuses that start..."80% of people won't repost this... blah blah blah blah copy and post if you're against mental health/suicide/cancer"

AmazingGrace16 · 29/12/2019 18:53

People who mark themselves safe in every event that happens even if they are nowhere near it happening at all.

stupidtabloidheadlines · 29/12/2019 18:54

"If you care, repost this...97.4 percent of people won't share it...I think I know who will..."

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 18:54

People who say about themselves how they are a very caring person, and how awful everyone else is.

1Morewineplease · 29/12/2019 18:56

Pouting / airbrushed selfies.
Checking in to uninteresting places.
Checking into hospitals.
Checking in to anything.
27 photos a day of babies and toddlers.
Brexit madness.

recrudescence · 29/12/2019 18:56

People on local FB page who post questions that are very easy to answer using the miracle of the internet or, you know, their own brain.

beautifulstranger101 · 29/12/2019 18:56

The cryptic messages with no context like:

"Sometimes I wonder what the point of it all is....."

Cue loads of people asking if they're ok, only to be told:

"I really dont want to talk about it..." So why fcking post it then??

Also: Virtue signalling, bragging, treating FB like your personal diary
and when married couples who live together post conversations on facebook instead of you know....actually talking to one another.

doublebarrellednurse · 29/12/2019 18:57

Joint Facebook Accounts

Check ins at home

I Ok Hun posts

CoffeeCoinneseur · 29/12/2019 18:57

People who post photos of supposed convicted criminals and how they look now...

I've seen at least 8 different men's photos going around Facebook being named as one of James Bulger's killers.

Likethebattle · 29/12/2019 18:57

I have one who says ‘bliss’ constantly.

‘Finally home....bliss....hubby cooking my dinner....bliss’

Just waiting for ‘Having a massive shit...bliss!’

Tombliwho · 29/12/2019 18:57

A&E check ins - purely for attention, usually don't share any other details until they've got a good few people commenting and worried about them. Fuck off.
Also it's sort of a pet hate, sort of something I love.. people who share absolutely everything and go on incoherent rants. I have one fb friend who will regularly post stuff like "Fucking bastards!!" "Poisonous cunts!" with no further explanation. Sometimes you'll get a good paragraph of rant about the council or her child's school. She's just a car crash.

Disillusioneddaisy · 29/12/2019 18:58

Boasters. 'Boy done good' posts. Posts about how perfectly behaved and advanced their kids are. Showing off about their latest handbag/car/holiday.

I don't like braggy people in general but I find it particularly crass on social media.

Thefaceofboe · 29/12/2019 18:59

People who leave long posts to their children or parents who are not on Facebook... they will not even see the post Hmm

captainswheel · 29/12/2019 19:00

Ha I do a lot of these things Grin

Mine is asking stupid questions on the local groups when google or even the search bar in the group could tell you a lot quicker!

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 19:01

People who put stupid stuff up for sale like a manky oven glove or 10 year old pans and put "must be gone today"!

TabbyMumz · 29/12/2019 19:02

Yes, when they say "anyone know what lunch is tomorrow at school", when they could just look at the school website.

Bunnylady54 · 29/12/2019 19:02

Those posts that dare you not to respond & then you feel you guilty when you haven’t made whatever it is your status for an hour.
The way you can feel/behave like a teenager or a petulant child on Facebook
People posting photos of their dinner ( I don’t mind if it’s special eg kids homemade biscuits etc but lots of folks feel the need to photograph their everyday meals!)

lotusbell · 29/12/2019 19:03

I have a 'friend' on FB who posts statuses and comments written in text speak or ridiculous abbreviations "Wots every1 doin 4 NYE?"
"I no hun, I fink sumfin is wrong wit him"
I deleted an old school friend because she constantly posted bad news stories about rapists, sex attacks, paedophiles etc with ott rants. I'm quite capable of reading news for myself. She would also post about hearing sirens and constantly worrying if it was her eldest son.
People who give every detail of their day, their children's lives and people who post pics of kids saying they are so proud. Of what? Your child for just... being?
Mothers referring to themselves as 'mumma', or 'mama'.
FB statuses which are just long essays.
FB holiday albums with over 100 photos, including doubled up and blurred ones. Learn to edit people!

Littlemeadow123 · 29/12/2019 19:04

People desperate for loads of followers while following as few as possible on instagram. The people who follow you and then as soon as you follow them in return, they hit the unfollow button.

BreatheJustBreathe · 29/12/2019 19:04

Selfies. Pointless, self centred and vain.

glasshalfsomething · 29/12/2019 19:05

People who use it as a storage device for photos - randomly uploading 300 images and videos - bad selfies, thumb covered shots, duplicates of the same meal! Grin

Emmelina · 29/12/2019 19:05

Gym check ins and sweaty workout photos.
Really, we don’t care. We don’t need to know you’re at the gym twice a day while your kids are dumped at your mum’s.
