Ive just taken the tree down, as find the decorations depressing after Christmas is over, but my DD (24) thinks I have taken them down too soon. I know its unlucky having them up after 6th January but is there a date that is too soon to take them down.

I put them up in November as we were away for 3 weeks of December, so they have been up a while, I feel bad that I have upset my DD though.

My tree went up on the 15th and i took it down on the 27th. There is some tinsel still up around my living room but thats it. Once christmas day has gone i dont see the need to have the tree up especially as my living room isnt exactly big and was taking up space. Leaving it up until January for me would be a bit unnecessary

Still up here, we usually take them down by new year but i love them this year, they're making me happy so I'll leave them till the weekend I think.

Says you but not wiki Grin

Twelve Days of Christmas, also known as Twelvetide, is a festive Christian season celebrating the Nativity of Jesus. In most Western ecclesiastical traditions, "Christmas Day" is considered the "First Day of Christmas" and the Twelve Days are 25 December through 5 January, inclusive. Wikipedia
