AIBU to think that 8 is the only way? Why would you do it any other way!

7 for me. None of the other ways make any sense to me.

5 here. As a primary school teacher, 5 is the only way to form it, if you want to join to the next letter correctly.

I thought I did 7 at first, then realised the coloured line covers first and I start top right, so number 8.

If you do any of the options starting at the top right then you’re writing right to left instead of left to right! How can you get the spacing from the previous letter correct if you don’t start next to it?
