I'm talking about Madonna and her "new" toyboy lover. Apparently they have been seeing each other for a year and are planning a future together. AIBU in thinking I would have her arse kicked?

Would think my DC had sadly become a gold digger, and a naive one: Madonna/George Clooney would have top personal lawyers! Or perhaps wanted 5 minutes of “fame”.

JaneJeffer · 22/12/2019 17:10

have you seen her bum implants?

Surely that's just a cushion shoved down her trousers in case she trips on her cape and lands on her arse again?

SimonJT · 22/12/2019 17:13

A friend is 34 years younger than his fiance, they’re very happy, settled and looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.

As someone who was disowned by their family due to who I love, please don’t put (ignorant) feelings before the needs of your children when they grow up.

Zenithbear · 22/12/2019 17:14

I would keep out of it but also think in all honesty that it won't last and that they should just enjoy themselves while it does.
A lot of relationships don't last anyway so I can't see what the big deal is.

feelingverylazytoday · 22/12/2019 17:15

CalamityJune I wouldn't be too judgemental, they're probably just beards, or 'escorts' in the true sense of the word.

Dozer · 22/12/2019 17:17

Is your friend’s fiance well off, simon?

sweeneytoddsrazor · 22/12/2019 17:18

@AnFiadhRuaRua that works as well. Grin

SimonJT · 22/12/2019 17:18

No he isn’t, why would that be relevant anyway?

AmurderIsAnnounced · 22/12/2019 17:20

The same rules don't apply to Her Maj...

I agree. I think age gap relationships have become the new "love that dare not speak its name". Of course, social disapproval of age gaps is far less punitive than the terrible discrimination and violence inflicted on gay people in the past, but I think the intolerance is coming from a similar place.

PositiveVibez · 22/12/2019 17:26

I wouldn't be happy. However he's not a 26 year old who she's plucked out from down the street.

He is the chief choreographer on her current world tour, so I imagine he is pretty well travelled and more worldly than a 25yo man who has not left his home town and is working in Gregg's.

I also imagine they have a lot in common. A love of music, dancing and travelling probably.

NameChangeNugget · 22/12/2019 17:28

I say good for her

Yetanotherwinter · 22/12/2019 17:42

Urgh she gross! Such an attention seeker. She must be a nightmare of a mother. I can’t imagine her putting anyone before herself.

Wherearemyminions · 22/12/2019 17:42

she might just fall in love with Tamworth, and sell her penthouse suit on 5th Avenue!

GrinGrin Will keep an eye out for her at the Co-Op

carly2803 · 22/12/2019 17:51

i dont know what any man sees in her....................except the millions in the bank!

Redcrayons · 22/12/2019 17:53

If one of mine brought Madonna home I'd be well impressed, I was an 80s teenager. if he's part of her team on tour, surely he knows What it's all about.

Deirdre from Greggs, I probably wouldn't be too Impressed, mostly because I prefer waterfields.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 22/12/2019 18:02

Well I can’t imagine why any 25 year old would want to suck the clit of a 61 year old...oh yes I can the bank account!

Some people will do anything for money 🤷🏻‍♀️

WhenOneDoorClosesAnotherOpens · 22/12/2019 18:16

Didn't Stephen Fry marry a chap in his twenties a few years ago?

I was thinking this too.

Jocasta2018 · 22/12/2019 18:35

My darling son, what first attracted you to multi-millionaire Madonna????

I'd be more concerned if it was Deidre from Greggs as there could be honest emotions involved.
Madge brings a certain lifestyle that might be out of the lad's reach otherwise. Plus with her enormous wealth, even a fairly strict pre-nup would set him up for life!

halocompanach · 22/12/2019 18:38

The money would really help him to get into the groove.

Kljnmw3459 · 22/12/2019 18:43

I think the whole multimillionaire worldwide superstar would soften the blow. I'd expect it to fizzle out within 2 years.

pigsDOfly · 22/12/2019 18:46

I wouldn't interfere but I wouldn't be happy about it.

As pps have said it's probably all about the money and fame.

I'd also be worried he had some weird Oedipal issues going on. She may be well preserved but she still 61 years old.

MonstranceClock · 22/12/2019 18:49

I’m 26 and I can’t imagine ever even considering what my parents might think about a sexual partner. Literally none of their business.

Redcrayons · 22/12/2019 19:07

You might not consider what they think, but I'd bet my last After Eight mint that if you rock up with Madonna they'd have an opinion about it.

VivaLeBeaver · 22/12/2019 19:11

So Madonna is this guy’s boss?

If it was a 61 yo male boss/person of power and a 26yo employee people would say it was unacceptable. Casting couch type behaviour, etc. If it wasn’t for the power imbalance I’d think crack on.

What’s to stop him selling his story to the press in a year and saying she was a sexual predator and he feared for his job/livelihood if he didn’t comply?
