Enough already with the Gavin & Stacey ....

Yes, we know it's the only thing going be worth watching on TV over Xmas but I am sick & tired of the relentless promotion of this on the BBC at the moment.

I literally cannot switch on the radio or TV without hearing or seeing trailers, promos and interviews with the key protagonists.

Please Make It Stop.

Gentle character led humour is my favourite. Amy other recommendations in that vein?
I'd definitely recommend the Detectorists. This Country is also very good, a bit different as it's a mockumentary.

This Country is one of the best things I have watched in the last couple of years. Hardly anyone else I know has watched it despite my banging on.

Well obviously they're going hard with the promo because it's the last episode they are ever going to do. They don't want it to flop.

I'm re watching Detectorists at the moment. It's GENIUS, I love it. I almost bought a metal detector last time I watched it Grin
Call the Midwife is on this year isn't it?? That's my favourite part of Xmas day!

Babysat last night from 6.30 till 2am..They had netflix..I watched G&S for 6 hours with tea and biscuits..Brilliant night and can't wait till xmas day!

I used to enjoy watching it, but it’s years old now and it ain’t exactly ‘Only fools and horses’ so I can’t see why they’ve bothered reviving it. I think it just shows a lack of imagination.
