Yes, we know it's the only thing going be worth watching on TV over Xmas but I am sick & tired of the relentless promotion of this on the BBC at the moment.

I literally cannot switch on the radio or TV without hearing or seeing trailers, promos and interviews with the key protagonists.

Please Make It Stop.

I adore Gavin and Stacey. I have seen one trailer. The noises from the critics are good. I’m excited.

Gavin and Stacey is wildly overrated and the fuss around this Christmas episode is mildly irritating. HOWEVER, any airtime given to G&S ads is time not given to the utterly hideous Mrs Browns Boys (which makes me want to stab forks in my eyes) so on that basis I'm all for it.

When is it on ? Not seen any ads for it.

we have family living in barry who we visit regularly(we are 40 mins away by car) and in the spring/summer they took over big time.

closed one way streets off, blocked off both ends of the only way to get in and out of the island and filmed all hours and didnrt give a shit about noise or very bright lights

they even blocked off half of the beach in the summer holidays for 2 days

i didnt mind it when it first came out but sick of hearing about it as well,i think its going to be a bit of a let down and not as good as people are going to be expecting

i always preferred her other show stella

It’s not that good away, and they should leave it where it was. Things only get ruin by Christmas specials.

I’ve not seen any promos but maybe because I don’t watch it I’ve been oblivious.

I can't flipping wait! Have seen a few trailers and I'm hoping it'll be good but I fear it won't be. Dawns been botoxed to the hilt by the look of the trailers.

I never understood the fascination with it. I watched 1 episode because everybody was raving about it...God it was dull.

The worst thing about the show is the over the top accents. Barry people have a fairly distinct accent. I grew up speaking it.

I love Joanna Paige she was on This morning G&S but she was just as excited at being asked to do the cbeebies Christmas day bedtime story, I love her bubbliness

runningonempty I don't watch that much TV. I listen to Radio 4 a lot though, and you really can't get away from the G&S hype there ... which I guess shows what audience they're aiming for.

It was ok the first time round but classic comedy like Fools and Horses it aint!
