It’s been 11 months for me and no sign! On one hand woohoo....on the other, is that normal?!

Quick check of mums I know and no one else’s disappeared for this long....

27 months (4 weeks after I stopped breastfeeding).

11 months and counting with DC2

Still breastfeeding my DS morning and nights at 16 months and no period yet. It’ll be a shock when it does return now!

Pinktornado · 18/12/2019 07:29

Not to derail thread... but in a similar vein, I know you can get pregnant while breastfeeding and without having a period, but does anyone know what the stats (risks!) are? I assume it’s lower than normal but how much?

BoggiesBonnieBelle · 18/12/2019 07:38

Breastfed. Spotting at 13 months, proper period at 14 months. We had planned to start TTC at 15 months, so it was perfect timing. Had one more period then was pregnant again.

18 months and 20 months both breastfed and returned once I had cut down the feeds to once a day.

LimpLettice · 18/12/2019 07:47

Both babies 12 weeks despite breastfeeding forever. Still feeding 13 month old and pregnant again too.

Athers666 · 18/12/2019 07:50

With my first, it was when she stopped feeding at night. With my second, he still wakes to feed and he's about to turn one. Going to be weird when they do return as it's been so long now!

Polestar50 · 18/12/2019 07:53

My baby is 18 months and my periods have just returned.

I breastfed on demand until around 17 months then I decided I'd had enough of the multiple wake ups and night weaned. Am still feeding first thing in morning, before nap and before bed.
