The version being played on Magic does have "slut" beeped out and the line containing "faggot" has been changed to "you're cheap and you're haggered"

I looked for a response from the singer when I saw this thread and the one I read didn't seem to be implying the word faggot was not offensive, but rather that it was spoken in character, by a fairly offensive person.
I think it's the cheeriness of the people singing along to the sad song that is the issue not the song itself. Remember that old song "Streets of London"? It's like people singing a weird hyped up happy version of that.

If she was calling a gay person a faggot that would be a slur but she is not so I don't get the angst. However, it could easily be changed to braggart, for the snowflakes.
