I was clearing out my watch list tonight and found myself wondering how all the threads turned out. This isn't like the long running ones which everyone knows about and lots of people wonder about, they're just fairly small threads which are on my watch list because I posted on them, where I want to know how it all turned out. For example, did they buy house a or house b? How overdue was the baby in the end? Which kitchen did you choose?

Would it be unreasonable to @ all the OPs to try and find out?

There are odd ones that don't come back that I think ought to, but you'd probably get yourself banned if you started hounding people.

I wonder this sometimes. There is a specific thread from about 10 years ago that I wanted to know if the OP was still here and how her family were doing. Weird, but different things affect you differently.

Australian gf one got an update this afternoon:

DS had words with her in the late morning, she said she did it because DH reminded her so much of DS she couldn't help but be amazed by him, then ran off. Found six pm in a bar completely smashed. Taken home, DS was making sure that she wasn't going to choke on her own vomit. DS naturally completely messed up by it all and not sure what to do.

And then deletion.

But while gf was drunk, DS managed to find out she was on a Sugar Daddy dating site under another alias and had about twenty different email accounts.
You couldn't make it up, oh wait a minute.......Grin
