Being a woman v being a man

Ok I live in the wealthy West and fully realise that many many women in the world have it way worse than men and suffer at the hands of some of them. I realise F to M trans people exist, but overall I would never want to be anything other than a woman mainly due to the emotional restrictions of the patriarchy on men. I wondered how others felt? It'd be interesting to try being a man but I'd definitely want the option to come back across the gender divide.

I know men are more likely to suffer physical violence ( at the hands of other men) but at the same time, they (appear) to feel less fear and are certainly less likely than to adjust their actions. I have never known a man carry anything as a weapon. I have known many a woman who keeps scissors in her bag just in case

I suspect it goes back to my previous observation in that if a man is attacked he will be believed because the damage will be clear, and so will get support, rather than a woman who will be told it was her fault or just disbelieved . And possibly even being in a fight is more socially acceptable for men..being tough and strong image. Hum

I was scared getting involved in that but i wouldn't have slept if i walked past. I actually wished i had my partner with me because she'd have diffused it in a less confrontational manner, whereas a bloke approaching another bloke is much more likely to end in me getting my head kicked in
