He feels fine in himself didn’t even know he had it till I saw it. No itching, no known allergies no other symptoms can anyone say what this might be or what we should do?

It looks like urticaria. It can be triggered by allergens. It’s also a common immune system response if someone is fighting off a virus.

Havaina · 14/12/2019 22:58

Looks kike urticaria. Glad it's gone!

Havaina · 14/12/2019 22:59

*like, stupid iPad

runlift · 14/12/2019 23:02

My husband gets this after a virus.

Radicalradiator · 14/12/2019 23:06

The shortness of breath likely because you made him anxious!

JoGose · 14/12/2019 23:10

I get this when I get stressed or anxious

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 14/12/2019 23:11

YABU to not have your tree up yet!

bluetongue · 14/12/2019 23:11

I also thought hives were itchy. I had them earlier in the year after using hotel shampoo and it was the itchiest I’d ever been apart from chicken pox.

EC22 · 14/12/2019 23:12

Is he drinking alcohol?

Riddleofthesands · 14/12/2019 23:17

Very allergic family here, you can’t go wrong giving him a Piriteze (antihistamine) in the short term.

catgirl1976 · 14/12/2019 23:17

He was drinking alcohol. Fully normal now and the tree is going up
Tomorrow 😂❤️

Google 'Asian flush'. You don't have to be Asian to get it... I get it occasionally with wine, sometimes after only a few mouthfuls, other times it doesnt appear at all! Rash is hot to the touch, breathing and heart rate increases. Doesn't last long, but can get quite uncomfortable!!

Cheeseboardcriminal · 14/12/2019 23:23

I always get like that when I drink alcohol and when I am stressed.

Blitzen2 · 14/12/2019 23:36

Articaria. A mild reaction to something. Some antihistamines and it should go. I used to get it a lot in pregnancy if I ate haribo.

DishingOutDone · 14/12/2019 23:37

My H had that from eating Rowntrees Fruit pastilles. Someone up thread said their child had it from Rowntrees jelly!! Are Rowntrees making wine now? (Wine gums?!)

wellthatwasthat · 14/12/2019 23:37

Has he eaten shellfish today, or do you have any hyacinth bulbs in the house?

Blitzen2 · 14/12/2019 23:37

Urticara!! Sorry bloody spell check

Fruitbatdancer · 14/12/2019 23:42

Similar happened to me a few weeks back. Sudeep my read all over- we tied it back to a reaction to a new perfume! Gutted as love smell

StillWeRise · 14/12/2019 23:42

hives- it can be caused by stress alone (no allergens)- it happened to me once when there was a very difficult situation at work
very dramatic, but cleared up very quickly

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2019 23:48

Hey stranger

Crikey that was something! My oldest dd does that - we discovered she’s allergic to colours in some orange drinks. Totally random and the first time was terrifying.

You all ok?

crazycatbaby · 14/12/2019 23:49

I am queen of the random rash 😂I've come out like this a couple of times, not raised and the rash is bright red and hot. Had it after a meal and lots of wine, it was a tasting menu so could have been anything on there, and also lots of different wines 🤷🏻‍♀️took an antihistamine when I got home and it was fine and hasn't happened again recently

peachgreen · 14/12/2019 23:50

I get this if I take vitamin B with niacin.

Hollyhobbi · 15/12/2019 00:05

Why do you give him a Beta blocker? Is he on Beta blockers?

DecemberSnow · 15/12/2019 00:19

Was it Californian wine OP?

JustDanceAddict · 15/12/2019 00:27

Looks like hives to me.
