To think it’s utterly disgraceful that Corbyn hasn’t resigned

The man is the reason the Labour Party didn’t stand a chance in the GE

Yet today he doesn’t even have the good grace or integrity to step aside

Is their anyone at all who supports him in that decision?

I find this thread quite scary because it shows just how split this country is. There's arguments on both sides that are so strong (rightly or wrongly) and there isn't a chance of anyone changing the other's mind.

I really worry about the future of our country Sad

I do. I don’t want him to resign! He’s an amazing man. I desperately hope he doesn’t step down and SO many people I know feel the same. But I know he will 😞 Such a huge shame when he does, a great loss.

TheBlueStocking · 17/12/2019 16:04

@Poorolddaddypig

We had people chanting for Jeremy Corbyn when I was canvassing. There's a lot of love for him out there.

Trewser · 17/12/2019 16:10

So because I am glad that JC is going its fine to compare me to a psychopath?

I hope Labour under the Corbynistas don't get back in for years. If they pick Rebecca Wrong Daily that's a real possibility 👍

CendrillonSings · 17/12/2019 16:30

I desperately hope he doesn’t step down and SO many people I know feel the same.

You and 365 Tory MPs... Wink

Weird hobby to be joining woman hating TRA groups.

Where did I say that I had?

koshkat · 17/12/2019 16:33

Trewser I think that they are so blind to what has happened that they will pick her. And they will be in the political wilderness for many years to come.

Lycidas · 17/12/2019 16:33

I'm a Labour voter but I think he should go sometime in January. The image of him continuing to appear in PMQ for another three months is a terrible look, and one that will open the party up to further mockery. The defeated past up against the victorious future. There's a balance between Ed Miliband's hasty resignation, and sticking it out for months...

koshkat · 17/12/2019 16:34

He is an embarrassment and should have gone immediately.

TheBlueStocking · 17/12/2019 17:09

Where did I say that I had?

I don't know what they're saying in the motorbike aficionados website. But you seem to know what all the woman hating TRA groups are saying.

koshkat · 17/12/2019 17:12

Go on twitter and find out. It's not rocket science.

TheBlueStocking · 17/12/2019 17:38

I don't have any special interest in reading the twitter accounts of woman hating TRAs, thanks. What a bizarre hobby.

Residents bid to rename Corbyn Road to stop house prices falling

Oh yes, Wales Online. That revered bible of facts.

TheBlueStocking · 17/12/2019 17:48

posts nonsensical news story that is almost certainly made up in trashy rag to prove there's no media bias against Corbyn

A most spectacular own goal!

Trewser · 17/12/2019 17:49

I don't think its made up.

koshkat · 17/12/2019 17:50

Bluestocking I am not sure that you are living up to your name on this thread.

It's not you is it Jeremy? Grin

Puzzledandpissedoff · 17/12/2019 17:59

And still the insults come Hmm

It's almost as if there's a resentment at folk being able to choose how they vote, and very worrying that many of Corbyn's backers are so firmly in denial in spite of everything

But if they really want to throw 2024 as well, I guess it's the way to go ...

TheBlueStocking · 17/12/2019 18:05

I don't think its made up.

Grin I'm quite sure you don't. Do you read a lot of Wales Online?

Trewser · 17/12/2019 18:06

It was in the metro also

Trewser · 17/12/2019 18:07

Bluestocking bless you, we get that you are cross but you aren't half talking a load of bollocks.

I don't think I've ever had a conversation with a real banana before. But thanks for the laugh!

Justanotherlurker · 17/12/2019 18:22

Be nice to hear an innocent explanation for this from the Boris lovers on this thread. I'm sure it was just a bit of friendly government funded joshing, right? That Boris is such a card.

Posting a year old article and not having any reading comprehension kind of sums up momentum.

In the article

" the Integrity Initiative had in the past tweeted about Conservatives’ questionable connections to Russian money "

it looks like they are taking a scattergun approach against any politician with potential Russian influence and have scooped up some conservative and labour MP's as part of this, it is wrong but picking up Corbyn citing Kremlin talking points

Here is some background reading for you, and I would be careful with pushing this type of thing when you clearly do not understand what you think you do, when Corbyn stood on stage with a russian leaked doc that was lapped up and pushed by Momentum that apparently proved the NHS was for sale, when it clearly didn't say any such thing.

You trying to play party politics with this shows all you have done is go through your gotcha links that you used to spam on social media, with no understanding of the background.

As you have no doubt said to plenty of other people, read around the subject and stop falling for headlines.
