To think it’s utterly disgraceful that Corbyn hasn’t resigned

The man is the reason the Labour Party didn’t stand a chance in the GE

Yet today he doesn’t even have the good grace or integrity to step aside

Is their anyone at all who supports him in that decision?

Well you have seen the disaster of Corbynism

So that should hopefully influence you

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:12

Sorry what was that Cenrillion couldnt cut through the hypocrisy, awww poor little troll there there

Jillyhilly · 15/12/2019 00:12

Does anyone know who would be on the shortlist of likely identikit Corbyn successors should Momentum succeed in continuing the Marxist crusade towards the glorious revolution?

Dusty01 · 15/12/2019 00:12

I'm too tired and it's too late to read the whole thread. So I'll just add my reaction OP.

I don't think it's disgraceful. He will step down - soon - what difference does it make to you or anyone if it's today or next week? The party has to find a new leader. That's going to take time.

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:13

Which ever message I feel my conscience can live with

ArseDarkly · 15/12/2019 00:16

It's amazing Just how much the Tory/Brexiter pp on here are living up to the stereotype - literally nothing positive to say except 'we won'. Nothing positive theyve been waiting to do, just continue kicking the shit out of Corbyn/Labour.

No great vision of this wonderful post-brexit world we've been told to expect, no great vision of the country brought back together, an end to inequality and injustice. The Tories are a big fat negative

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:22

Its because they have nothing but bile and slogans AD its pitiful really, its a shame their parents did such an awful job of raising them to be selfish and to not share the pretty things they have because theyre special dont you know, they dont have a shred of care or empathy for their fellow travellers on this journey of life, Im sure some verminous posters here think I might be angry Im honestly not I can just sleep at night knowing that no child going cold and hungry is doing so because of the policies I voted for

CendrillonSings · 15/12/2019 00:24

Do tell me all the positive things and the great vision you're going to achieve with 203 MPs! Labour and Momentum will have literally no say in anything that happens over the next five years, and then you'll have to win 123 seats in one go to get even the tiniest majority for socialism...

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:25

We lost Cendrillion, so because you won you get to tell us what part of the Tories domestic policy are you most looking for them to enact

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:26

*looking forward

CendrillonSings · 15/12/2019 00:30

Well, the bit where we sell off the NHS to Donald Trump and use the proceeds to fund massive tax cuts, obviously! You were telling us all about it, remember?

ArseDarkly · 15/12/2019 00:30

Please all those that want a credible and fair Labour Party that can win an election join the party so you can have a say in who leads the party or the left of the party shall continue with damaging the party so it’s stays in opposition

And who exactly is going to win an election in your opinion, genius? Because i've no idea. And no, I am not a member of Labour or any party despite constantly being labelled as momentum just because I was desperate for an end to the Tory destruction of my country.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 15/12/2019 00:33

Labour lost behind want anyone expected

Now the party can build itself up to again be a credible party because it certainly isn’t at the moment - if it was they wouldn’t have lost so many seats and in labour heartlands - incredible that they are so out of touch with so many core voters

And many voters will return once it is a credible party again

But the left have to now let go unless of course they would rather stay in opposition where they can plan what they would do rather then be in power

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:34

Its an interesting policy for sure, are you confirming you support it or not? Remeber we lost so we dont get a say in what comes next, anything else youre looking forward to Cendrillion, any changes to social care you feel the Tories will implement? Change to welfare? Health care changes? Changes to the judicial system? Remember Cendrillion you guys won a majority so the message is now yours to control, not having trouble with that are you, because like you said Socialism lost so come on now inform us of what you think you as the winning side should bring to the country

ArseDarkly · 15/12/2019 00:34

Do tell me all the positive things and the great vision you're going to achieve with 203 MPs!

Eh? I'm waiting for you to state even one positive thing that will come from the Tory gov but you can't do it can you? You've got nothing to say but pointless shit, which is extremely fitting given your allegiance

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:37

Its a discussion I'm sure the party are having after such a loss enthusiasm, and Corbyn may as well stay on as leader for the next couple of weeks and not just dump the party machine into the shit

ArseDarkly · 15/12/2019 00:38

And many voters will return once it is a credible party again

What does that even mean? You might as well say 'get Brexit done' - just meaningless tripe.

ArseDarkly · 15/12/2019 00:41

Well, the bit where we sell off the NHS to Donald Trump and use the proceeds to fund massive tax cuts, obviously! You were telling us all about it, remember?

Are you suggesting that Johnson and co aren't planning that? Because they so obviously are. But you've already said you don't give a shit because you go private anyway, good for you.

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:41

Oh for an added sweetner to all you verminous Tory voters, I another PIP assessment in a few months and where they will ask me again like they did the last time why I havent killed myself yet

mmm doesnt that give you the Tory ready break glow Smile

noblegiraffe · 15/12/2019 00:42

The problem with Corbyn is that even if you thought he was a lovely, decent, brilliant man, people hated him. He was deeply unpopular with the general public, and the Labour Party knew this. But instead of switching him out for someone more palatable (or him doing the decent thing and stepping down) they just continued plugging him. Even if you thought him inviting Hamas/the IRA for tea was a demonstration of just how fantastic he is, it played badly with the public and no amount of telling them that inviting Hamas/the IRA to tea is fine really was changing their minds.

And the public massively rejected him. But still instead of switching him out or him doing the decent thing and stepping down, he continues.

How can you have a period of reflection when it is blatantly obvious to everyone that you are still ignoring the elephant that trashed the living room by virtue of the fact that it is still there? How can you even begin a clean-up operation?

ArseDarkly · 15/12/2019 00:47

Blah blah blah flogging the same point to death

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:48

Oh go on then I'll give you another shot of that Tory drug you like so much

because of the availability of 1 bedroom properties I loose £60 a month because of the bedroom tax and when they transition me onto UC I lose another £60 a month because they remove my severe disability premium so £120 due to Tory policy for the last decade, think how much you can strip away from me because who do I think I am having a house to live in being a disabled benefit scrounger, I bet some of you are salivating and panting in a heightened sexual state arousal after reading that huh? Smile

JustAnotherPoster00 · 15/12/2019 00:50

Still whining about Corbyn? He lost remember

So noble which bits of policy implementation are you looking forward to the most from this current government?

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 15/12/2019 00:50

A credible party

One where MP’s are not leaving due to prejudice and bullying by party activists and should it happen a leader takes action straight away

That would make Labour credible again

One that presents a manifesto that voters feel is achievable

Having a leader of the party that hasn’t had dubious friends or shown such contempt for people who hold different political views to him/herself

Just a few expectations for the next leader

Starmer, Jarvis, Cooper could be successful leaders even with their remain stance this may not be such an issue by the next election
