I feel utterly in despair. How can people not care about the NHS, the planet, the homeless.... etc etc etc...

It augurs well for the Nats here which is very pleasing.

Good God Stanley Johnsons remarks on Channel 4s election night. He is having a set to with Nish Kumar on racism.

I agree Alexa that innocent people will suffer.
I'm just so angry at the stupidity of working class tories.

It’s not like Boris has destroyed the nhs by himself. We cannot blame conservatives.

I can and I will, I worked for the NHS with Thatcher and then Major as PM. MT had a wonderful policy, you could build new hospital wards with money from government but you couldn't refurbish the old ones.

This way MT could say how much extra money the NHS was given without improving anything.

Then there was the disastrous 'patient events'.

Stanley Johnson in who Boris Johnson really is. Johnson junior just has to pretend to be slightly less of a twat in public.

lynsey91 · 13/12/2019 13:26

Yes I am worried about climate change but I don't believe anything will happen whoever got voted in.

If people really care about climate change stop having so many children. That would be a great start.

Children today are likely to face an absolutely awful and terrifying future. Why on earth are people bringing them into the world and then saying they worry about their future?

FuckYouBoris · 16/12/2019 19:18

@lynsey91 so you've come onto a parenting site to suggest people stop having children?
Hmm

I voted tory because I didn't want a second referendum DESPITE voting remain. I also have a zero hour contract job as my husband works shifts as a nurse so it's the only way I can work, labour would have had me on the dole, not great when I'm not actually entitled to out of work benefits. We'd also have been financially worse off with the removal of the marriage allowance and other tax rises. Now, tbh, I don't really care how that makes others see me, I voted for the best for my family and I won't apologise for that
