What do conservative voters think about the strong possibility of the NHS being privatised under vile Boris? Do you care?

^ I think if you understood what privatising it actually means and if incompetent civil servants aren't in charge of negotiating the deals then it's the best thing for it. (I worked for the NHS too so amazing not completely clueless).

bakabakabeyond · 12/12/2019 22:29

conservatives vote for themselves, not for other people. They couldn’t give a toss about your disabled children. - this.

NickelADimeCandy · 12/12/2019 22:29

It was a terrible choice but Corbyn is by far the worst of the 2.

Elphame · 12/12/2019 22:29

I sincerely hope the exit poll is correct.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 12/12/2019 22:30

Why would ANYONE vote for Boris? I despair...

Because the only other choice was a Corbyn/McDonnell Labour and that was even worse?

LeithWalk · 12/12/2019 22:30

As a professional with an education background I am horrified - our public services are doomed - I only hope the Tory voters can pay individually for all they need - education, health, care, including for profiteering costs

As a person, where has our moral purpose gone in this country. Absolutely shameful - to vote for the politics and for the man.

Emigrate if I could - i don't want to live here in such selfish communities.

theduchessstill · 12/12/2019 22:30

Well why are you always on it then Lurker? Fucking irritating - don't start on about critical thinking, ffs.

JamesBlonde1 · 12/12/2019 22:30

Usually yes, good news Xmas Smile

notmuchtooffer · 12/12/2019 22:30

FFS, John McDonnell seemed to be implying just now that he and JC may hang on...

It won’t be their choice hopefully? At some stage Labour MPs must have the power to oust them?

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 12/12/2019 22:30

I just watched McDonnell as well. It is pretty clear that he will not accept that this vote is the end of him and Corbyn. It is all just the fault of brexit😂 The man is clearly deluded.

thehorseandhisboy · 12/12/2019 22:30

Space I keep thinking that. Policies that built the people of the UK up after the war - the basis of a civilised society - are now thought of as Hard Left.

So sad and frightened.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 12/12/2019 22:31

Its not over until the wee fat lady sings, either way we are we are up shite creek without a paddle, with these 2 bawbags

Milicentbystander72 · 12/12/2019 22:31

Well kudos to Mcdonell for going on. I did get the impression that he's not ready to believe the whole tack of Labour currently is deeply unpopular.

Breathlessness · 12/12/2019 22:32

It was obvious that this was going to happen. Outside of the Momentum echo chamber, Labour are horrifically unpopular. This is down to Corbyn and McDonnell. Every Labour MP who criticised Corbyn was accused of being a Blairite or blue labour by blinkered idiots who were so busy cleansing Labour’s own ranks of dissenting voices they didn’t notice that their beloved leader was rated as completely unelectable by huge swathes of the UK. You can’t win an election by only winning the votes of people who already agree with you.

Lochnessgiraffe · 12/12/2019 22:32

Hopefully it's true. As a jew could never vote for Corbyn.

Antigonads · 12/12/2019 22:32

Well that’s cheered me right up. I’ve been feeling quite sick all day that we’d have a hung parliament and more months of indecision.

Cuteypye · 12/12/2019 22:33

The Conservatives in Scotland were never going to perform as well this time round. Ruth Davidson was their secret weapon. She is the most honest and honourable MP in Holyrood as well as the previous leader of the Scottish Conservatives. Her resignation was a huge disappointment and there is no one who can fill her shoes. Don’t even know who the Scottish Conservative leader is now.

Fatfat · 12/12/2019 22:33

Hope so!

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 12/12/2019 22:33

Yeah I think they're pretty accurate and you know what

All those people calling Tory voters thick, selfish and racist etc delivered the final nail in the coffin I believe. I spoke to someone today who was torn for ages and then decided on Labour. He said this morning after listening to the labour venom all week they had actually changed his mind.
Tories have always been the silent majority.

Well done everyone. Hmm

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 12/12/2019 22:33

Oh, and I was hoping for a hung parliament. Just for shits and giggles.

PlomBear · 12/12/2019 22:33

Time to emigrate and leave the ruins of the UK behind.

Justanotherlurker · 12/12/2019 22:34

How far right have we swung that Corbyn’s polices are considered far left?

The fact you are pretending we have swung to far right shows you don't really have a handle of politics to make any kind of judgement.

This is the working class vote who have abandoned labour, it could be a time for self reflection instead of still trying to treating it like a sports team to support.

arethereanyusernamesleftatall · 12/12/2019 22:34

Turkeys voting for Xmas

This.
