Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

We moved house just under a year ago. We are on nodding terms with the next door neighbours, but have never exchanged names. Now they've sent us a Christmas card with the names on, which should be great, as I won't have to ask them, except I can't read the handwriting! Any ideas? I've cut off the man's name as I can read that, and I can see the last one is Emily, but the other three are a mystery. If it helps, the children are girl, boy, girl.

Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

I'd just get one that says to our lovely neighbours
To all of you, from xxxx

LaurieMarlow · 10/12/2019 12:08

To all of you, from xxxx

That doesn't help the good people on this thread

Neill, Aimee, Liam and Emily.

(You could simply scribble similar looking names and they'll just think you have terrible handwriting)

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 10/12/2019 12:15

I would say this is a definitely case for "All at no. 27" . Obviously don't use 27 if that is not their house number.

The 3 children are definitely Amiee, Liam and Emily though. Odd that we can't make head nor tail of the mother's name though!

xChristmasJumperx · 10/12/2019 12:16

I see the i in the right place. The writing is just loopy.
I agree with the poster who says this handwriting, although a bit loopy, is fairly ordinary Confused

mrsjoyfulprizeforraffiawork · 10/12/2019 12:19

Niall - it definitely has an i (see where her dots are for the other "i"s) and the a is the same as the one in Liam.

If you know the surname you could look them up on 192.com to get the adults first names.

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 10/12/2019 12:24

I’m afraid you’re going to have to knock next door and ask them. You can’t leave this mystery unsolved!!

CharityConundrum · 10/12/2019 12:24

Do you have a local facebook group that one of them might be on? Even if they don't post, you could see the members of a 'spotted in xx' type thing? Or one for your road that you can check?

TuckMyWin · 10/12/2019 12:26

I think on the balance of probability it's probably Becci. It does look like Decci, but I think the line deliberately goes across the "D" making it a 'B'. Honestly, I'd go with whatever you think, and if you get it wrong maybe she'll write nearer next time!

GiveHerHellFromUs · 10/12/2019 12:27

Do you know their surname?

Just put 'To the Jones''

AlliKaneErikson · 10/12/2019 12:28

My brain can interpret that first name as Paul and Becci...and many others. How bizarre! Really want to know the outcome!

Gemma2019 · 10/12/2019 12:29

People are so annoying - why go to the trouble of writing and sending a card if you can't be bothered to write it legibly?!

Cloudyapples · 10/12/2019 12:29

Can you find one of them in Facebook and see if they’ve done any posts with the family names?

LaurieMarlow · 10/12/2019 12:30

I’ve stared at it so long now it’s just random lines

bakingdiva · 10/12/2019 12:30

Drew, Aimee, Liam and Emily?

SunsetBoulevard3 · 10/12/2019 12:32

Drew, Aimee (Ariel?), Liam.

TriangularRatbag · 10/12/2019 12:33

Dracci, diminutive form of Dracula.

SmoothOrange · 10/12/2019 12:35

I see Reece as the first name but unlikely as its the mothers?

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 10/12/2019 12:40

Go round with a clipboard and say you're doing a survey of all the names in the street. You may have to actually follow through and do all the houses in the street, but that could be useful in the future if you get any more illegible cards from neighbours.

OldEvilOwl · 10/12/2019 12:40

Is it Amiee not Aimee though? And Liam, not sure about the first one

Ffsseriously · 10/12/2019 12:40

Seriously people read the ops first post at least its a womens name so unlikely to be Neil.

CallMeBobcat · 10/12/2019 12:45

“To [man’s already known name that we’re 100% certain of] and the dead spider that may still be crawling over stationery at No 46,

Merry Christmas”

Drizzzle · 10/12/2019 12:45

Becci

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 10/12/2019 12:46

Seriously just go and ask. I’d say I keep a Christmas card list and if I spell all your names wrong now I’m never going to get them right.
Not creative, just honest and straight to the point.
