Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

We moved house just under a year ago. We are on nodding terms with the next door neighbours, but have never exchanged names. Now they've sent us a Christmas card with the names on, which should be great, as I won't have to ask them, except I can't read the handwriting! Any ideas? I've cut off the man's name as I can read that, and I can see the last one is Emily, but the other three are a mystery. If it helps, the children are girl, boy, girl.

Neil, Liam, Aimee and Emily?

diddl · 10/12/2019 10:49

Looks like Dzemi to me!

BertieBotts · 10/12/2019 10:50

I think it's Anice, not Amiee - but perhaps she was in a rush and mixed up the m and i?

And yes, just facebook stalk them - unless they are doing that thing of keeping their children off facebook.

littlemeitslyn · 10/12/2019 10:50

Drew?

xChristmasJumperx · 10/12/2019 10:51

Well, Aimee, Liam and Emily are easy.

The D name - wow, Becci? (even though it looks like it starts with a D)

UmmH · 10/12/2019 10:52

Maybe the first name is Daniel?

Chocmallows · 10/12/2019 10:56

Weird one could be Delia?

Writer uses the double ee for a too.

Oceanbliss · 10/12/2019 10:56

Could you ask one of the kids what their names are?

Boobahs · 10/12/2019 10:57

This is how I see it. The M's are all the same so I think it's definitely Aimee. The "i" is a bit tricky to find but definitely there.

Aimee, Liam and Emily. Not sure on the 1st one

LaurieMarlow · 10/12/2019 10:58

I think the first name is Demi. However it's possible the first letter is a P, hard to tell from the way it's been cropped.

GoGoLego · 10/12/2019 10:58

Diana Annie Liam

PsychosonicCindy · 10/12/2019 10:59

Traci Aimee Liam & Emily

NightDreaming · 10/12/2019 11:00

I take it you don’t know their surname? You can just write “To the Smiths”

Tbh you don’t need to know the kids name. Is you can work out her name (my guess being Delia) then you can just write the man & woman’s name then and “and family” to the end. It’s what we get all the time on cars to us.

Good luck!

diddl · 10/12/2019 11:01

If it's "Demi", what's going on between the D & the e??

Milbo · 10/12/2019 11:01

Traci, Aimee, Liam and Emily

SirVixofVixHall · 10/12/2019 11:02

I think it might be Ania rather than Aimee. Agree on Liam and Emily.
Can you widen out a bit for the first letter of the first name OP ?

LaurieMarlow · 10/12/2019 11:02

Poor joining up? I have terrible writing too and can imagine doing something like this.

However I don’t know, just seems like the most plausible option.

senua · 10/12/2019 11:02

How good are you at reading upside-down?Grin The voting register on Thursday might tell you her name.

Bluerussian · 10/12/2019 11:03

Heidi, Aimee, Liam and Emily.

I expect others on the thread have got there before me. The H on Heidi doesn't appear to be a capital letter but some people write like that.

Nice!

Madcats · 10/12/2019 11:07

With handwriting like that she must be a doctor!

There is definitely an "i" in the first name (though it did look more like Neil to me). Have you tried googling her address (do you even know her surname).

If your road is a tiny bit like mine, the Hermes/Parcelforce/Fedex couriers and postie would be able to tell you in an instant! Don't go to work OP and order lots of stuff online Grin
