Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

We moved house just under a year ago. We are on nodding terms with the next door neighbours, but have never exchanged names. Now they've sent us a Christmas card with the names on, which should be great, as I won't have to ask them, except I can't read the handwriting! Any ideas? I've cut off the man's name as I can read that, and I can see the last one is Emily, but the other three are a mystery. If it helps, the children are girl, boy, girl.

Can anyone decipher this handwriting for me?

Becci not Becca 🙈

Apolloanddaphne · 10/12/2019 10:04

I think it is Demi, Aimee, Liam and Emily.

PuppyMonkey · 10/12/2019 10:12

@wowfudge OP says she's cut the man's name off as she can read that, but adds: "and I can see the last one is Emily, but the other three are a mystery. If it helps, the children are girl, boy, girl."

So I think that first name is still in question....

I think it's obviously Drill, Arnie, Looni and Emily. Grin

Chloemol · 10/12/2019 10:13

Neil, Aimee, Liam and emily

SVRT19674 · 10/12/2019 10:13

Paul Aimee Liam and Emily

Tighnabruaich · 10/12/2019 10:13

Just put “to all at No 6” or whatever their house number is.

Chloemol · 10/12/2019 10:13

Or Nelli?

k1233 · 10/12/2019 10:17

Drew, Amiee, leoni and emily

CatInTheDaytime · 10/12/2019 10:19

Love the idea that you could go round with a pen and trick her into writing her name down! Instead of just asking how you spell her family's names for their card. How British is this thread :o

(NB not sneering - I wouldn't be able to ask either!)

ahagwearsapointySantahat · 10/12/2019 10:19

Had this with one of our neighbours, I managed to work out 2 of their (adult) children over time, but the third one was illegible every year for some reason and became known to us as "squiggle"! Then one day when I bumped into the mum out shopping I just asked her - she thought it was quite funny!

FenellaMaxwell · 10/12/2019 10:20

I suspect from the way Aimee is spelled that the writer has dyslexia. If you look at the way in Liam they write their ‘A’s as 2 ‘e’s, I think it’s Darci

Bootstraps · 10/12/2019 10:20

The first name is hard to determine partly because of the way you’ve cropped the photo, OP. It’s hard to know if the first letter is a D, P or B. My first instinct was Becci but who knows.

I’d definitely say the last ones are Aimee, Liam and Emily.

ZandathePanda · 10/12/2019 10:21

Leoni?

Bootstraps · 10/12/2019 10:23

Correction: It’s Amiee as she spelt it, not Aimee (which would make more sense but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of sense going on here ...)

reesewithoutaspoon · 10/12/2019 10:23

Reece? aimee, liam, emily

BruceAndNosh · 10/12/2019 10:24

My username is from a similar thread a year or two ago

DebbieFiderer · 10/12/2019 10:27

Thanks all, sorry for not coming back sooner, I'm at work. To clarify, the first name is the mum, then three kids. I think Liam is probably right, I thought about Aimee for the older daughter but it does look more like Amiee which would be odd. The mum's name definitely looks like it starts with a D but I can't work out the rest.

It really is a very English problem isn't it!

No idea for the first one but I’d say Ariel, Liam and Emily for the last 3!

Blingismything · 10/12/2019 10:32

@GiveHerHellFromUs
Meant to put 'to all at number 44 from us all at number 45'Grin

Cookit · 10/12/2019 10:34

I also see something, Aimee, Liam and Emily.

I can’t imagine what I would do if I opened my front door to a neighbour asking me to try their new pen Hmm ... I’d be instantly suspicious it was some kind of weird trick.

joCmummy · 10/12/2019 10:40

Neil Aimee lliam emily. I think.

Can you find them on Facebook? I always try that first. Find a mutual friend you do know and go from there? Either that or grab a kid in passing and ask?

Or just do as I did once and put something like "To all at No.15 from all at No.17! Have a great Chritmas!

wowfudge · 10/12/2019 10:44

@PuppyMonkey clearly I can't count. The first name looks like Drew, but the handwriting is terrible.

Grape0 · 10/12/2019 10:46

Becci, Aimee, Liam
